Gotta say...HATE THEM!! Seems like every Catholic church in Cincinnati has one of these each summer. My thought is to have everyone take the $$ they would have spent at all of the summer festivals and give it to their church. At my church, we raise about $100 per family. I'd rather donate the money and not worry about volunteering, buying food that is not good for me etc.
How about all of you? Are church festivals popular where you live? Do you like to attend them? Do you enjoy volunteering at them? Can someone help my adjust my attitude towards them?
