I like that I get to be the last one
It was so great meeting you guys! I hope you had a magical trip!!
Thank you!!
How Fun! Can't wait to read your trip report for your December trip......as we leave tomorrow too and will actually be activating our AP's for our first year ever as Annual Passholders! I haven't commented, but I love reading your trip reports. I hope we have as much fun this year with our AP's as you all have had with yours
I hope you had a great trip!! I thought the parks were getting super crowded by the time we left!
WOW! It's here! Have an awesome trip!
Thank you!!! We sure did
I hope it's great and you enjoy it! This used to be hands down my favourite non-nighttime show at Disney. Then I started hearing people saying it was really bad, and when we went back in August and saw it, a lot of the performers seemed to be new (yes, I'd seen it enough times to recognize the actors! haha) and the quality wasn't as good as it used to be. But it seems like it was getting better than some of the bad reviews I'd heard, so maybe they're just still learning and getting into the groove, and by now they will have gotten everything figured out! I hope so, because we're giving it another chance when we go in a couple of weeks if we can fit it in.
Spoliler alert: We never made it! We realized we had to head to the airport a little earlier than I expected so I moved up our lunch at Tiffins and so we had to miss Nemo. Looks like we'll have to go back!
What an amazing year it's been for you guys! We really enjoyed meeting you on our trip! Here's to many more exciting years of traveling to come, both to Disney and elsewhere!
Thank you! It has been an incredible year. I really enjoyed meeting you both and your families! I hope we get the chance to meeting again!!
As always, have a magical trip

Cannot wait to hear about it and I too am so very glad we got to meet

I look forward to meeting in Disney again, maybe in 2018 even though you say you won't be going!
Thanks Ariane!! As you know...we will be back! Hehe. I don't' have a date set for 2018 but I really want to go for Flower and Garden. It's our favorite time!
thank you!!
Have a magical time. I am sad to see this will be the last trip for awhile. Enjoy reading your reports. Thank you for being my first Dismeet. I hope to have more on my next trip .
Thank you!! It was great meeting you! I hope we get a chance to meet again!
Yes, I think you did! 8 trips with your AP, that's incredible!!! Why have it unless you can milk it for all it's worth, right?!
Absolutely I'm trying to get the cost down per minute that I am at Disney at the point it becomes negligible.

Of course this excludes food and shopping...
Have (another) great trip!!!

) I'm very excited about your evening tonight I have to say..can't wait to hear about the food! And the movie! I won't be seeing it until Dec 26 (but at the ipic in Boca

) So I know I will have a very hard time not seeing the spoilers!!
Thanks Kathy!! I thought the Star Wars Galactic Nights was awesome. I would go again. There was so much we didn't get to do either! You have to pick your battles just like at
MVMCP and
MNSSHP I guess. But since this was solely focused on Star Wars, it was a little less overwhelming. Hope you like the movie! I loved it, Steve is on the fence...
I know you're there right now and I know what you guys just bought (thanks to Instagram!!!) WOOHOOO!!!!!!
Hehehehe. Thanks!
Hope the 2 of you are having a great time.
Thank you so much! We had an awesome time!!
So jealous you got to see Star Wars at DS! We saw it yesterday morning and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
The movie is polarizing...some people love it and some hate it. It's definitely different. I loved it...Steve is on the fence, he has too many questions and keeps talking about plot holes. I am a fan of Rian Johnson so I tend to like most things he does
You two look like you've been having a great time on this trip. I can't wait to read the TR, especially about the Omikase dinner at Morimoto Asia, what you posted online looked fabulous!
Thank you!! We had a great time! I'll fill you in on the omakase now because by the time I get to this TR you'll probably be at WDW next year, hahaha. We made reservations using their online form and then they called us back to confirm. We got the date and time we requested. The whole experience is about 2 hours long. You are seated at the sushi counter on the 2nd floor of the restaurant in front of the chef preparing your omakase. We got Chef Alex from Japan who was really nice.
Our first course was a sashimi salad with a spicy korean dressing, then a dish of braised giant clams in a ginger-y broth that were really tender. Then we had about 4 pieces of sushi, some horse makerel sashimi and a tuna hand roll. All were delicious and of great quality. Our next course was Wagyu beef dumplings which were out of this world. Some of the best dumplings I've eaten! This was followed by a seafood hot pot, which is just a seafood soup with lots of fresh ingredients simmering over a flame. The "pot" for the soup was actually a thick paper which does not burn...it was really cool, and the soup was delicious, very clean tasting, not a lot of other "stuff" to mask the flavor of the seafood so it was nice. Chef Alex said this was something they had for the winter months. It was definitely a lot of food at this point and we thought the next course was dessert. But no. About 15 minutes later we were presented with a huge broiled tuna collar. This was served with a side of their korean bibimbap rice. The tuna was delicious, there was some limes as well as a finishing salt you could use if you desired. It was really delicious, with the best parts of the tuna located in that area. The collar was so meaty that some of the fish actually looked like beef and had a brisket texture. We were full but we managed to eat everything! Finally it was dessert and we had a lovely pear torte with a pastry cream dipping sauce which was really good. Overall, well worth the 150 we paid (excluding tax, tip and drinks). I would dare say I would do this again over Victoria and Alberts if I had to choose. It's just more casual, and I really loved all the dishes and that it includes sushi!
For drinks, if you like sake, there is a Morimoto sake sampler which is a good deal. 35 dollars and you get tastings of 4 different sakes with quite generous pours!
Let me know if you have more questions!
