When does it start?
And when is generally the quietest time?

I would really love to be there for a sunday,lunch/brunch at Inventions but the cost of staying a Saturday night makes it so expensive :( no way we could get there in time if we arrived on a Sunday.

its 9th or 10th November this year it begins I think. Midweek is always nice and quiet for Christmas season in November/early December (but avoid until after 11th November this year, as there are French school holidays right up til then this year).

If you want to be there for Sunday brunch, how about a 3 night/4 day trip running from Friday to Monday, or even a 4 night/5 day starting on a Thursday? Maybe the 2 nights free deal might be back (you just missed one for November/December dates).

Or, go offsite (the associated hotels aren't usually as expensive for a Saturday night check-in) and just go for one night/2 days with an annual pass, to cover Saturday and Sunday :).

Well if we get the annual pass I want to make the most of it and really want to see Christmas in Disney and the shows always feel me tears!

Are the weekends generally quieter in November/December if we avoid holidays?

I was looking at the explorer the pool looks amazing but I love the fact we can walk to Disney hotels with DD!

no, weekends are very busy usually at DLP in November/December, lots of local guests coming to enjoy the Christmas theme.

Might have to forget the brunch then :( save that for another time!

Slightly off topic here but I've just finished reading the section in the Brit Guide about Christmas and I have to say, it really made me want to go. It sounds so lovely. Christmas is my favourite time of year and just thinking about mixing Christmas and Disney almost had me in tears. Imagine all the big Christmas trees. The nice cold, wintry air... oh I could cry!!! I can see me going for Christmas or New Year some time... Maybe when I have kids :goodvibes
