The Christmas season has begun! (well at least for me)

I love Christmas season... but I'll have to wait until the day after Thanksgiving for it.

My friends call me Scrooge. I do like Christmas, I just don't get excited until about December 12th.

Christmas is my favorite holiday. It's just so cheery. I don't get excited until the day after thanksgiving when we put our tree up.

Then I'll be in a lull and usually don't get excited till like a week before.

But, yeah, Christmas is fun.

I love Christmas. I am completely ready for it now.

I don't start until after Thanksgiving (I like to celebrate my holidays in chronological order).

I'm excited for this year, though. Mostly because I'm getting an advance on my present and I'm going snowboard shopping this weekend.

I like to consider thanksgiving a pre-christmas holiday. like the little gifts in the stockings are thanksgiving and the big presents from Santa under the tree are Christmas.

thanks! i bought the tree (35.00 for prelit 6'5'') and the ornaments at walmart (they have big tubs for 15.00, i got two of those, and two boxes of snow flakes for 2.00 each) and the tree skirt was 10.00.

i've wrapped all the presents i've bought, but i still need to finish my shopping for matt. those are all the presents for my family.

Hmm, a tree for only $35? I may just have to go get one for our place. That is actually a really good deal, plus it's prelit! You don't have the arduous task of putting the lights.

And, I also put the DIS on the holiday theme.

I probably wont really get into the christmas spirit until I go home for winter break, anyways. I don't really see las vegas feeling christmasy, lol.

oh, and its SO much easier to put up when its prelit, cause it comes in three big sections, and you don't have to attach the branches, you just unfold them.

i didn't add any lights either, those are the ones that came on it, so it did have a lot of lighting on it.

I agree Paula! There is something about palm trees and desert which doesn't scream 'christmas', but its all i've known, so it would be awesome to have a white xmas one year!
