I was just wondering if any resteraunts do anything special not just on Christmas. We are going the 7-14 and i think a special Disney Christmas meal would be cute. Thanks in advance
i've been during the first week of december the past two years and I honestly don't remember seeing anything hollidayish on the menus. Some of the restaurants have christmas decorations up. All of the resorts do, as do all of the parks. But nothing special on the menus to my knowledge.
Doesn't Liberty Tree do a thanksgiving-ish thing year round? Never been there so I can't say for sure but it might be a good fit.
We've done December several times and I can't honestly remember any TS places that have done something special for the holidays. I can say that for the character meals, the characters are usually dressed in their holiday garb, but that was all. Sorry to disappoint!
The Liberty Tree tavern would be the closest thing to a christmas dinner, turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy etc. It is a character dinner and if you time your reservations right you can finish your meal and step outside and watch Spectromagic as the route goes right by the restaurant
We always go the week before Christmas, and there's never really anything special for the holidays on the menu until Christmas Day. The restaurants will all be decorated nicely, though!
In the parks (specifically Epcot and MGM), however, you can find special holiday drinks (both with alcohol and without).
I've seen eggnog being given out for free in hotel lobbies on Christmas Eve. (Though this is sporadic-- sometimes it's cider, and sometimes there's nothing at all!)
MGM also has special holiday drink stands set up that sell egg nog during the Osborne lights. I don't recall seeing it anywhere else.
