I noticed the pkgs were gone this year also. Does that mean there was no tree-lighting song and dance ceremony each evening????

We didn't see one and I remember reading here on the DIS that they had discontinued it

I didn't arrive until Dec 23 2008 so I wasn't able to attend a Christmas party. There weren't any more by that point. But here is what I have:

This will be the first trip for my 3 (soon to be 4) year old nephew!!! This is the only time I will go to WDW! It will be so magical for him to meet Mickey :and see Santa all in one trip!

Seeing all these pictures makes me want to plan a trip during the holidays. It's been a while since the kids are all involved in activities at that time of year.

We are going at Christmas for the first time this year! I am going to work my way thru this thread but would love to see pics of the character trees in Animal Kingdom that I have read about. I don't know that I have ever seen a picture of those.
