Christmas Parade date?

Does anyone know the date when the Christmas parade is being taped? I thought it was sometime when we would be there and I'd like to plan for it. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response. You say one of the dates? Do they tape on multiple days? I have my itinerary planned a bit and was actually going to be at MK on DEc 3rd. Now I don't know whether to avoid MK or go and see a once in a lifetime event. At least for us as we never go to WDW in December. Any idea of the crowd factor?

I've been there for the taping before, it was VERY crowded. We'll be there again this year, but we expect to be packed in. I wouldn't go just to be there for the parade taping, but it's the only day during our trip for Spectromagic. If you want to see the parade and can swing the tickets, go to MVMCP, still crowded, but more manageable IMO.

I haven't looked at the Specto schedule. If that is the only date that Spectro is going on then we will be there too. We were just at WDW last week but it was so hot that we barely stayed in the parks and missed Spectro. I promised DD that we would catch it this time. We have tickets for MVMCP for Dec 1st which is the first night we are there. Guess we'll be packed in too!

Great! Look for the 4 ladies that look very similar but different ages. We span from 6 y/o to 68 y/o but you can tell we are definitely related!

We'll be there December 3, what kind of taping? Sounds like something we want to avoid! I thought the week after Thanksgiving we would be "safe" from crowds, but maybe not? Should we do another park that day or is it better to avoid WDW the whole day?

It is that weekend. They tape Friday-Sunday. The front of the park will be very congested but once past there you should be fine.

Is it the 3.00 parade that they tape?? I've also planned to be there that day - again due to the spectromagic show - hope its not toooooo crowded!!!!

No it is the Christmas Parade they tape. They start taping before the park opens and it continues through the day.
