We are also registered for the December 23rd cruise on the Wonder! We have 2 girls, ages 12 and 10. My oldest daughter is handicapped and we are staying in a handicapped accessible room, room 7638. We can't wait!:earsgirl:

We and 20 of our now closest dis friends sailed last Xmas (7day western).

It was truly one of the most "magical" holidays ever.

First, of course the terminal and ship (and CC) are decorated to the max (tastefully, of course).

Then there are activities of a holiday nature (muisc, gingerbread house making, etc).

But Xmas morning.....

The ship was unusually quiet. No one really came out until about 730 - 8. You see, what place has a bigger chimney for Santa than a cruise ship?

Santa did bring smaller sized gifts, and fewer of them which I heard many parents comment were appreciated even more (really, who can tell the difference between the 17th and 18th item?)

The stocking santa filled were especially cool. Seems our DD's even slipped a few things into Mom & Dad's stockings this year.

Santa (and helpers) was in the ships lobby, and all the pirates and princesses came to say thanks. BUT, he even had another present for every one who came by.

All day there was that special feeling on the boat.

Watching the crew exchange gifts among themselves made you remember this is our vacation but their home.

About 2 pm the day got to us, and all the Dis'ers went and rebooked for the XMAS 2005 cruise.

What a day!

Pure Magic and Wonder.

Hi sound like we will have a great time, we normally spend our time in florida cleaning and refunishing our vacation homes so though this christmas give the children something to remember, last christmas we took them to lapland on christmas eve which was also magical.

Jeanine we are not sure which cabin we are in as we have only just booked it and the only cabins available were the balcony ones cat 5 or above. We will have to find you. My children are 6 and 10.
