I will be at Universal the first week of December and was looking for feedback on what to do that is christmas themed. We are universal veterans going twice a year in spring and fall but never over the holidays, I have 3 kids 13, 10, and 8, I know about the Macy's parade and the breakfast with the Grinch, is the breakfast worth the price for the interaction with the grinch? any other events or special christmas only activities that you have enjoyed please let me know thanks.

The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular is a show where the story of the Grinch is told. I loved it. Also, If you do no want to spend all that money on breakfast, the Grinch does meet (the one like the movie) in Seuss Landing, although lines can get a bit long and you stand in front of a green screen, where they will add a background if you buy the picture or have Photoconnect. There's not much to do, besides what you've said and this, but it's a wonderful time to be there and you can definitely feel the Holidays in the air!

We loved breakfast with the Grinch! We also loved Grinchmas stage show, very fun! Also, there will be a lot of "whos" walking around Seussland, they stay in character! Ask them casually about the Grinch and the variety of responses are wonderful! Keep in mind, the Grinch is both awful and awesome, pending which stage of the story, and it's just a fun are to be around.

At USF there is also the Blues Brothers Christmas show and a Barney Christmas show. And on select nights Mannheim Steamroller plays at the park. The Blues Brothers show is pretty good. I've not seen the other 2. I don't have little kids and my dates have never lined up for Manheim.

We enjoyed the breakfast with the Grinch. We, however, are very unlikely to wait in line for a character meet and greet, so breakfasts is the way we do it. The characters were all very attentive at this one.

Book the breakfast for the earliest time available, and you may be done before the park opens. We were able to get into Harry Potter before opening, even though we stayed offsite.
