Christmas music question - solved!

I'm looking for an instrumental version of The Carol of the Bells that we're hearing a lot this holiday season on the radio. It's very majestic. I've tried calling the radio station when I hear it but can't get through and I haven't been able to find an e-mail address. I asked at a music store last night but they weren't sure who performs it.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'd love to get a CD.

Mannheim Steamroller has a very majestic Carol of the Bells. I believe if you go to their website you can listen to parts of their CD's. Mannheimsteamroller.com

I may not hear much of their music during the year, but at Christmas I know I'll hear it several times a day.

Trans Siberian Orchestra's is majestic and rock and roll at the same time - could be that one?

Thanks for the suggestions. I wondered if it was Mannheim Steamroller, unfortunately that isn't one of the songs available to hear on their website. I also searched for one by the Trans Siberian orchestra but none of their holiday cd's on their website list the Carol of the Bells.

It is Trans-Siberian Orchestra...the album is Christmas Eve and other Stories the Song title was changed it is Christmas Eve Sarajevo. It came out in 1997 I believe. Awesome version of Carol of the Bells. Here's a link to it on Amazon.com
Its one of my favorite Christmas albums.

You can try to do a search by song title on Towerrecords.com [towerecords.com?] or amazon, barnesandnoble.com or any of the other music e-tailers. You may even be able to hear a sample of it online.

You could also try at Barnes & Noble...At least the one by me has a really COOL set up with headphones & a catalog of music by artist/title/etc...They'll even order it for you if they're out of stock & it's in print...
