christmas morning at the resorts

I have seen a few places on the boards where people have woken up to see something at their door...kinda like a small present from mickey. Not that this would be a deciding factor, especially since by now all my adr's are made, plane is paid for, not to mention the whole trip is finally paid off Just wondering if anyone on here stayed on site last Christmas Eve night and rcvd something the next morning.

We've stayed quite a few Xmas eves at different WDW resorts and have never received anything special for Xmas morning - even in concierge level

Aways still thrilled to be there though!

We have been for the past 4 years and have not received anything, but in 1996 when my son was 6, we stayed at our home resort of OKW for xmas and on xmas day there was a cute stocking filled with Mickey lollipops on our door! We even got another one because a CM saw DS and I out for a walk and asked if she could give him a stocking and so he got 2.
Gone are the days..but we still love wdw at xmas.

Candy-filled stockings on resort doors ended around 4 years ago. It was a nice holiday gesture. We were sorry to see it go.

Christmas morning 2004 we woke up at the Polynesian and found a bag of goodies (candy and stuff) hanging on our door. We could see every one else had theirs too. It was pretty neat!

On Christmas morning in 2004 and 2005 at the Contemporary everyone on each floor of the Tower and I assume in the Garden Wing rooms, got a bag with a Mickey Mouse Christmas card and some candies. However the next year they did not do that.

We stayed at POFQ for Christmas 2005 and didn't receive anything special from the resort.

We stayed at the Polynesian last Christmas and didn't get anything special delivered to us on Christmas Day. No worries---my daughter was consumed with what Santa dropped off in her room the previous night.

We checked out last Christmas morning, we didn't get anything, but the CM at the checkout desk was extremely nice and wished us a safe trip and a Merry Christmas.
