Oh, what an incredible story...
Please accept my condolences for your Dad. How wonderful that he left something alive and loving as a memory of him.
I got my cat Rambo one year to the day that I lost my first child. I remember coming home and he sat in my lap and wrapped himself up in my arms like a baby. For 17 wonderful years this cat WAS my baby, and wonderful reminder of how God would not allow me to go empty armed.
