Hi everybody! I have never posted before (at least not that I recall) so I don't have all the lingo down yet so please bare with me. My hubby and I are annual passholders (approaching the one year mark on December 27) and this is our first year to enjoy all the holiday happenings to their fullest. We have been to each of the parks already this holiday season except for Animal Kingdom but we were wondering what other highlights we should be sure not to miss. We have been to the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house and also stopped by the Polynesian to see their holiday display which we heard about on a Food Network holiday Disney special (we were sorely disappointed to find no display this year. The restaurant hostess we questioned about it first tried to direct us to the GF for their display but we said no, we wanted to see the Polynesian's display. She said there wasn't one this year, she didn't know why. What a bummer for us.) From now on we obviously want to make sure we are planning according to current information for this year. If you all could help we sure would appreciate it. Thanks! :stitch2:

OH! Dont forget the Osborne's Spectacle of "Dancing" Lights @ MGM-- this year they put the lights to music every so many minutes- I forget how long in between-- but it is a MUST SEE!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Around the World at EPCOT is great! Every country shows their traditions, decorations ,etc. One of my favorites! Have you thought of gong to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?

Someone told me it's because the pastry chef from the Poly just got moved to the Grand, and they hadn't filled the position yet. I liked the little gingerbread Poly... :(

Thanks so much for all the input everybody! We really hadn't considered Mickey's Christmas Party for financial reasons. We would LOVE to attend but it's hard to come up with all the extra money required for additional tickets, particularly this time of year. We did attend the candlelight processional a few days after Thanksgiving, we enjoyed that. Thanks for the update on the Polynesian display - sounds logical to me and wasn't something I had even considered. We spent the day yesterday and went back to Epcot and also to MGM for the Osborne Lights (our second visit so far). We started at Epcot, took the boat to MGM and then, for the first time, walked back from MGM to Epcot stopping at the Boardwalk and Yacht and Beach Club to see their displays. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a gingerbread house at the American Adventure pavillion in Epcot. We had a blast and I'm headed back with friends on the 22nd and with my hubby for Christmas Day (another first for me.) I'm so excited. Though the annual passes are expensive they are well worth the money for us as we visit the parks at least twice a month on average. Thanks again guys for all your help and any additional input sure would be appreciated. :stitch2:
