I know it is early but I am starting to think about our December trip. This trip is to celebrate DH and my 20th anniversary; DD's 10th Birthday; and DH's 42 Birthday. They are all within 4 weeks of each other - luckily my BD is in August since our Dec can't thke much more :rotfl2:

We will be at Disney for one week and then taking the 4 day cruise.

I am looking for suggestions as to where we could eat dinner Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

We will be staying at the Beach Club - I am planning on a somewhat lazy day on Christmas (resort hop to look at decorations, mini golf, or SAB). I am also hoping to do the CP dinner package (LeCellier??) at some point (maybe Christmas Eve??). I am sure many of you are veterans of Christmas Day.

There are just the 3 of us - myself, DH, and DD who will be 10. We all enjoy eating out so don't be afraid to suggest because of DD. She usually eats off the adult menu/shares with us - the waiter at Boma was shocked to see her eating the Salmon instead of Chicken Nuggets. In addition to Boma we have enjoyed many sit downs in the past - Ohana, Cape May, Le Cellier, Hollywood Brown Derby, Narcouossis (sp?), etc in the past. We will have UPH tickets but I am worried about parks being at capacity.

You sound like you plan to do alot of what we did on our Christmas visit.

We did the CP package on Christmas Eve, eating at Le Cellier. It was a nice restaurant, and I cant imagine a better night to do the CP.

Christmad Day we started at the MK and had breakfast in the Castle...again very magical to just be there for Christmas. But after that when the crowds started pouring in we left and checked out resort decorations and went mini golfing. Being so full from breakfast as we knew we would, we didnt plan on any big dinner. Instead we just picked up counter service at the CBR food court during our visit there. We also did a Sleigh Ride at the WL that night.

Have fun planning!

Thanks CanColt for your reply - I am going to bump this up -

Someone else must have been there at Christmas last year that has some ideas!

Has anyone done Artists Point on Christmas Day?

Let's see, one year for Christmas we ate a Tony's. It was crowded but otherwise not too bad.

The next year we ate at Ohana's. That was good as usual but it was also more crowded than normal. They wouldn't let anyone in the Poly if they didn't have PS.

Last year we ate at Boatwrights. That wasn't as crowded but sitll more people than normal.

We have found that you need to make your PS as early as possible to ensure you get close to the time you want. I am not sure how the CP at Epcot would be. DW had some kids perform the day after and it wasn't that busy. Last year I don't think it was that crowded but it was raining all day so that thinned crowds out a bit.

We haven't done Artist Point but both times we were there at Christmas we enjoyed the CP on Christmas Day with dinner at Rose & Crown. The Candlelight Processional on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day is so moving.

We had dinner at Citricos on Christmas Eve. Narcoossee's, Artist Point and Yachtsmean's would be other great spots for either dinner. Someone posted a great review of California Grill for either Christmas Eve or Day. I think that would be high on my list if we're ever there again on those days.
