Hi all,

I'm wondering if WDW is planning a number of special dining opportunities for Christmas. Aside from Minnie's, Candlelight Processional (I'm not counting the various dessert parties), are any places going to offer special meals on Christmas Eve/Day ala the Thanksgiving or New Year's Eve meals?

Thanks in advance for any info,

If you are a DVC member they have a dinner planned:

For those Members and Guests spending their Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort this year, watch as we take “twas the night before Christmas” and turn it into a “tale as old as time” with a Holiday Dinner fit for a Beast… and Belle that is! Taking place at Fantasia Ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, indulge in an all-you-care-to-eat buffet filled with seasonal favorites such as beef tips with mushrooms, roasted marble potatoes, a delicious holiday dessert assortment and a make-your-own hot chocolate station! Be immersed in a world of holiday splendor with royally themed décor, festive entertainment throughout the evening and a Character Meet and Greet opportunity with Belle and Beast.

In the past, several places had a special Christmas Eve/Day menu. I would assume it would be the same this year.

Sadly, we are not DVC members. I'm assuming the event is DVC only?

When we were there over Christmas we had dinner on the 25th at Whispering Canyon. They had a special menu with "traditional" Christmas day faire. I believe there was a holiday "skillet" that had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. There were several other places that had additional items on their menu that were traditional holiday favorites.

No idea about DVC, but I'm planning a trip the week between and Epcot has a special dinner at the event center that still has plenty of availability.

.
1) I have no idea of your question.
2) Many eateries have a Christmas meal.
3) There are few with a "special" meal event.

Thanks for the reply, RS. To clarify, what I mean is an ADR for a holiday-themed dining "event," such as Thanksgiving at the Disneyland Hotel. We had turkey and cranberry crepes at Cafe Orleans in DLR for Thanksgiving one year, for example, but it wasn't so much a "traditional" holiday meal as a holiday-themed special item.
