Christmas decorations on the wonder?

Does anyone know if they decorate the ship for Christmas? If so, When? Is it like the parks? (decorated for a month)

Yes they decorate the ships for Christmas. usually they do it on the Thanksgiving cruise and it stays until New Years.
The atrium has the bulk of the decorations although there are a few small trees around the ship. there is a 5 foot tall gingerbread house near the Promenade lounge too. They have atree lighting ceremony the first night that is really a lot of fun too.
The last 2 years they have decorated parts of Castaway Cay too.

Would love to know more about the Christmas decorations too. We cruise Nov 3rd last year on the Wonder....and as we left the ship we noticed what looked like decorations beginning to come out.....I've read of snow on CC.....story time with Ms. Claus? I hope it is true! We are cruising Nov 30th this year...so, I feel sure whatever Christmas extras the Wonder has...we will see it and be able to experience it all......BUT, would love to hear details.

Thank you for the information. I am so excited. That is my favorite time of the year. That is why we always vacation in December. We take little trips here and there, but really vacation in December.

We went Dec. '02 and I loved the Holiday decorations on board and Castaway Cay. We scheduled another for this December, but had to reschedule for Mid-November.

I'm kind of bummed because I was looking forward to packing our girls' Christmas Dresses and getting photos with Mickey and Minnie by the tree for cards this year.

Oh well. I guess we'll shoot for Dec 07 or 08 and do them then.

Yes, Mrs. Clause does have a story time in the atrium a couple of times. also the art of entertaining event is making a gingerbread house which is alot of fun too.

we went on the 10 night christmas cruise in 2004, and we're going on it again this christmas. the decorations are amazing. they have a special tree lighting (i'm assuming they do this on every cruise when they have the decorations up) that's really neat. there are decorations on castaway cay... i'll post some pictures...

We are hoping to be able to sail on the 12/2 Magic and can't wait to see Castaway Cay all decorated for the holidays.
