Happy Birthday Molly!!!

I can't believe my baby will be 18 on the 31st!!!

Time does fly, you have the perfect attitude about it too Nan :)

Anyone who knows me also knows my family comes first above all else...

Have a great trip you guys, TTY when you get back eh?

Have a great time with all of your birthday festivities and give Minnie a hug for me!

Happy Birthday to Molly, from Aisling, Chad, and Jesse! I know you'll have a fun day, because you have such a good mama to make sure of it!

Dede, you got mail. ;)

Tig, OMG 18. Are you doing anything special? What better feeling is there than to sit back and look at your kids, and know you did a good job. My best wishes to Brittany!

Nan, I wonder if you noticed I've been avoiding your cruise questions! I'm afraid to tell you the price, it's high. And I'm afraid to tell you it's another Eastern, because you probably don't want to spend money on another Eastern.
We have finally settled our booking on a Cat. 6 verandah, the same room we had the last cruise, 6540. I switched from the Cat. 7 the "special" navigator's verahdah because they only hold 3 people, and Mel said he'll come this time. So my price went up to $9000, but I get an $800 gift card from Costco by booking through them, as well as it being $400 less than booking through DCL. The prices are outrageous, up $2000 from 2005, but we really really want to cruise Christmas 2007, I NEED to cruise, so I just went ahead and put down my $1000 deposit.
We don't mind doing the Eastern again, because we loved the extra sea day, and also because we'll spend less money with one less port, well theoretically anyway. I already have my excursions planned, to see/do things we didn't see on the islands the last time. So it won't be like repeating the same cruise over again.

And guess what, if you all are going on a 2009 cruise, we are, too! Chad's working 2 part-time jobs to pay for a trip to Universal next summer, and he's going on a trip to visit my brother in North Dakota. So the cruises aren't keeping us tied down financially and locking out other vacations. I am really good at budgeting the money, so that we basically get what we want, without waste. And also, it has helped tremendously that Chad's in school on a scholarship. Otherwise, we'd have student loans to pay, and wouldn't want to do a $7000 and then a $9000 cruise while we have big debt (with WDW trips in between.) So we're basically spending Chad's college money!

Anyway, Karen, maybe we'll meet up in WDW sometime, since both 2007 and 2009 are not good for you.

Tig, your friends Ophie and Tarzanman are going on the same cruise!

Ok ENOUGH about the cruise, sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot is going on this summer, Piper, the Skjerven's in England, Miss Tiggerwannabe planning her Cali adventure, Britanny becoming legal, all good stuff. Nan, is Mom going to England with you?

Today is rainy, a lazy Saturday, tons of laundry, so I can't be so lazy I guess. Colleen, is it true I heard there was West Nile found in Burlington County??

I haven't heard of any local west nile cases ...but I rarely have time to watch the news anymore...

I sooo hope you get to meet Ophie and Tarzanman...I met Ophie(Sarah) at Epcot with Rose, she gave us a fabulous tour of the ins and outs of the Food & Wine Festival! She's a real smart cookie that one is.

TZM (Tim), I have not had the pleasure of meeting but have seen trip reports from him and his friends' last cruise... they look like tons-o-fun as well.

I just got emails of Allentown Meet reviews and pics, Deb Wills' Allears posted pics & Mike Scopa of Mouseplanet wrote a cool review...check em out!

I haven't got any plans for Britt in stone, gotta check her schedule first...

I'd like to have a bbq/party for her, she and I have to take some time and talk it out.

Would you guys take the trip down if we have a bbq? Think about it, maybe even Mel will come? I'd like to meet him and I'd like you guys to meet the rest of my clan.

Dede: Good luck with the work and baby stuff. You sound so like a first timer, and I mean that in a good way. Remember babies come when they are ready, not when it's a good day for you to be finished at work. Hope fully Little Miss Piper will be nice to her mommy, but just in case, deep breath, and go with the flow.

Yes I know....Piper will come when she's darn good and ready, whether I am or not! ;)
Like you said, I'm just hoping that she's "nice to her mommy" and at least lets me get in a few weeks of school. I really hope to not go back until after Thanksgiving.

I will definitely take it slow, Karen, because slow is about the only speed I move in these days. The big thing for me will be the heat. I'll have to get people to trade duties with me so I don't have to be outside much while its still so hot outside.

Tig- I would be ok with a Sept 16th birthday :thumbsup2 , but you'll have to fight with my Aunt. She wants Piper born on her birthday, and I wouldn't mind sharing a birthday with her either :goodvibes My Aunt and I both have Sept. birthdays.

Aisling- I got the PayPal. Thanks for everything!!!!

Well, I have that pregnancy carpal tunnel and my right hand is officially numb, so I'm done here.

Bye for now all!

Aisling, My friend Loooved the WDW package!

September *is* a good month isn't it!

 kinda busy at work...just poppin thru...

Aisling .... We'll be in the city on Wedensday. I forgot all about it. We have tickets for An Evening with Carrie, Harry and Garp at Radio City. It is JK Rowling, Stephen King and the author of a World According to Garp reading from their works with special guest appearances, hmmm. It is the closest Kayla is ever going to get to JK Rowling ... it was her 18th B'day present. (BTW - Happy Belated Birthday, Miss Molly!)

Not firm on all of our plans yet, as my sister is going in to see the Lion King and we may hook up for dinner. But she is a nervous wreck being in the city - makes me laugh - anyway, we may be open for dinner. Who knows. I'll let you know if you are interested, Aisling.

This will involve a trip to the Disney Store, so if there is anything any one is in need of, let me know and we'll be happy to pick it up for you!

Dede - would you kindly PM my your new address? Thanks.

Hi Gang,

I've been away since last Sunday...upstate visiting family. Nan, thanks for sharing your DLand excitement with me, no kidding, I was so happy to get your call. PM me your number again, please , because Chad wanted to call you, but I didn't have your number on my cell log.

This has been a very stressful week, topped off by the death of a acquaintance who was surely becoming a friend, and my sister's little weiner dog suddenly having to be put to sleep today. Out of the blue, the dog's lower half became paralyzed, the poor thing dragging itself around, ***!, we were sickened with grief and wondering what the hell happened all of a sudden to this dog. It was hard because my niece and nephew were crying so much when I left there this evening, Jesse was so upset, I'm still feeling the anxiety of everything. I'm so glad I'm home. On a good note, I downloaded the Dis radio thing, and it really is helping lighten my spirit. Thank heaven for disney, really.

Karen, I'd love to stop by wherever you are in the city, whether for dinner or a quick hello. :grouphug:

And Tig, it really made me feel good to be invited to Brittany's birthday barbeque. We really WILL get together, promise.

My love to you all.

Thanks guys! I'll relay all your birthday wishes to Britt...

We're doing pizza & cake tonight...DH said he's gonna take Brittany out for a movie as well~

Sounds like a great trip Nan!

Been keeping busy over here - painting and decorating and whatnot. I'm starting to jones for a Disney trip. I think this is the longest I've ever gone without having a a trip at least planned (since 2001 - my first trip). Starting to think about WDW for Christmas 2007. 17 months isn't THAT far away...

Chad - post more vids!
