No teaser for Molly Yay! Those are the worst to have to deal with. Brittany had that issue in second grade-I was ready to have a party when I heard that girl was leaving Britt's school.

I did LOL & :rotfl2:

We (a few moms) high fived each other when we saw she wasn't there. When we find out for sure, I think I'll suggest that be the theme of the next Mom's night out. (a.k.a. Margarita Mama's Club)

I think I can figure out the search, thanks I'll call ya if I'm stuck.

Yes, Flat is good. Mine is not flat, but very small in size.

Poor Piggy. (actually poor piggy huh)

ok, I have to count our pins now, I think we might get 2nd place in freak that shops too much for pin category. (or maybe 3rd...Karen, how many do you have?)

Off to Kinder orientation,

Nan

Back after lunch.

That piggy is SOOOO funny!!! And it's true! I'm going to send his picture to everyone I know so they can die laughing, or crying! :rotfl:

Nan, $2.77 is outrageous. I promise not to complain again!
Wilson is going to have a ball with the go karting. Maybe you have a pic to post??
;)
And I think it's so cool that Molly is in a school that teaches a foreign language like that at such a young age, just immersing them in it. It's so valuable to be bi-lingual. We have no such thing here in our public schools. And you get to learn too...so lucky. Tell her that she's a very fortunate young lady to be in such a cool school system. The kids probably take it for granted, it's just part of their lives. I can't get over what a wonderful idea it is where you live.

Karen, I collect pins, but no where near being a collector, if you know what I mean. I was into Tapestry pins for a while, especially when they got rid of the parades. :sad: But the trading is so much fum especially with the CMs. My kids love it.

I'd better post this quick before I lose rthe whole thing. Been happening a lot lately!

500+ Yikes!

Yup and fun!!! :rotfl2: We love trading with CM and kids!

Poor poor piggy!

I have a lunchbox full

Now I gotta go count mine too?

I thought of a new way to store my extra antenna toppers ::yes::

Shishkabob sticks!!! I put the topper on the stick, pointy side up and placed them all in a vase in my hutch. ::MickeyMo

And Gas went up 4 cents since last night

Wawa is our nearest, best priced gas. Yesterday it was $2.47 and today at lunch time it was up to $2.51.

Aisling, I'm shocked that the city has such a good gas cost...ours is almost at California levels. I also found out that Canadians have it even worse...Ontario's cost is almost $3 american already.

Aisling--you do NOT pay $1.63//gallon--it was more than that here last summer! If it is that cheap, I'm driving to NYC every time I need to fill up!
It is $2.59/gal here.
Pin thing didn't work out too well...I'm peeved. I thought I had one won...7 pins for like $15, Castaway Cay. At 20 sec. left no problem, NO one else had been bidding, then at 10 sec. I am overbid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO not enough time to bid. I was ticked! OH, well, not that big a deal. But I figured even $3/pin was a good deal! OH, well...I'll keep looking.
Guess I gotta go fix dinner.
Bye :wave2: :wave:
Kris

People actually can set up their computer to outbid others at the last second

Not sure how, I only know they can...maybe Aisling knows :confused3

When I go to Orlando in October, I'll go to the Disney outlet and see if they have any good deals...I'll let you know. I've never been there, it's a good excuse to go eh?

~Tigger~

(Like Britt's new avatar? It's Britt and Jeff, the lead singer from Poison the Well.)

yes that means the NY ideas must be paired down to a rat tail or something like that
:rotfl: Nan, you just gave me a GREAT idea! ;)

Aisling, I'm shocked that the city has such a good gas cost...ours is almost at California levels.
Tig and Kris, I'm shocked, too, because I didn't know prices were higher in your areas. In fact, my SIL sometimes drives all the way to Jersey (not too far from us, right over the Outerbridge or the Goethals from Staten Island) just to fill up her car! Jersey prices were SO much better, it was sorta kinda worth it. She never tallied in the bridge tolls, though. :rolleyes:
We have so many gas stations around, maybe that's why? Crazy!

Kris, isn't there an official ebay slang term for that, when someone sneaks in at the last minute to grab the item?? Can't think of it at the moment. But my worst language emerges whenever this happens, and I'm not usually a potty-mouth, but $%^&* those *^&$% (&$%^#@ when that happens!!!!!

I wanted to say something else, but I forgot what!

When I go to Orlando in October
Stop bragging! :rotfl2: Bad girl, torturing us like that!

And tell me, had Brit been to CBGB's? I didn't even know it was still around! The place looks boarded up, but I think it may be part of the "decor"!

I hear some come to Jersey for the full service...

That's what my PA coworkers say anyway :confused3

You're not gonna bring rat tails are you :earseek:

I am not bragging, I'm helping!

I'm volunteering to go shopping while I'm there :goodvibes
~~~
Britt hasn't been there, she says "they" are trying to close it now tho...
it seems you noticed her sig change before I did ;)
Sniping. It's the only way to Ebay!
Yay! John and Dede are one step closer to the new house :cheer2:
The slab is done. It'll probably be 1 to 2 months before they start framing. The slab looks good though!
I'm glad they're taking their time. They seem to be doing a quality job, so I'm not gonna rush 'em!
Sniping!!!!!! That's it! Thanks, Grim, you lurker, you!
You're not gonna bring rat tails are you
I just need to know one thing, do any of our cruisers have a rat phobia?
Grim, your Pie slogans are so funny, so Monty Pythonish. I look forward to seeing the next Pie saying. Pie? Yes, please. :rotfl2: Now why do I find that so funny??????????
Hello, my name is Nanette and I'm a sniper. I've been snipping for hmmmm.....how long has ebay been here...since 1998....it's really the only way to shop. Also, I have a friend that has the "system" that snipes for you, I'll find out the name, but I figure there is an art to it and I really have no business buying all the crap I buy so if an automated sniper wins my auction, more junk for them less for me.
I just need to know one thing, do any of our cruisers have a rat phobia?
Who in their right mind does not have a rat phobia?
you silly people, you all talk too much, I have work to do....leave me alone....(what a jerk I am huh?)
N
Dearest Nanette...I finished my work today
:how do you spell a rasberry:P
I like rats-I like feeding them to snakes and alligators :laughing:
I'm very curious what you have in mind :scratchin:
:wave: Hi grim!
Slow and steady-I totally agree
They said you'd be in it by January right?
~T~
Okay you people no more whinging about gas prices because I can beat you all hands down. We're paying £1.94 a litre, I've just put that into a currency converter and it came back as $3.47 and remember folks that is for a LITRE lots less petrol (sorry I mean gas) than a gallon.
Now I think you'll have to let me win this round, now remember what I said no more whinging!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Ok, I was going to join in the gas whining, but I can't after LynnTarrant's post. :earboy2:
The items I was thinking of for our 25 are not flat. I'm going to find the smallest I can, but they might just have to go along with the box if they won't fit. I think its worth it, though :goodvibes
So, I have a question for all the ladies out there. Do you think that 35 is too old to wear polka dots? I found the cutest pink dress with black polka dots, and I bought it for semi formal night. I couldn't resist. It was $120 and I got it for $21.
What do you think?
Time to make dinner for my hubby, so I'll go for now.
