Yes, it would help to see a picture, but in general I'd say 35 is not too old to wear a pink dress with black polka dots. Any age could get away with it depending on how the lady carries herself. Ask Grim to take a photo of you in the dress. I'll bet we all love it! And for $21, who cares what we think!

Dede: I must agree no age limit on the polka dots. I say that because my Minnie dress is red with white polka dots of course. I have to agree with Aisling, if you can carry it you can carry it off.

On the West Coast cruise a group of DISers signed up for Wine Tasting and Margarita Tasting they had a great time, I went to the art of entertaining on Cocktails, where the bar tender made about 6 different cocktails, I won one of these for answering a trivia question. At the end everyone was given a cocktail to try.This cruise I quite fancy the Martini tasting myself.

GOOD MORNING, Christmas Cruisers - hey we should do tee shirts. "Christmas Cruising 2005" and have the 00 look like Mickey ears?? I'd be happy to design and arrange for them, but please no lime green - it doesn't go with my red hair!!! (Jill, I'll pack and bring them with me!! Or I can ship them to you all!) If any one has other thoughts or design or color ideas or are not a fan of the idea - let me know.

I am taking a mental health day today. Too much going on with the play and work and I just deserve it. Forgot to mention it was Dominick's birthday yesterday, oops. (Told you I needed a mental health day.)

Kayla wants a rat - it goes along with her Harry Potter obsession. I told her NO! Eeew.

We are planning the wine and beer tasting. DM and I did the wine tasting on the 3 day and enjoyed it. Thought my BIL would like the beer tasting. I figured if we make at least an hour a day about him, he'll be happy. Let me know when you are planning so we can make reservations! I also want to do some of the art of entertaining, as well.

There are 2 things ample women (such as myself) should never wear polka dots and stripes! However, I am a fan of them on everyone else!!! Dede you'll look fabulous, I am sure.

I am bringing a bit of NJ for the boxes, even if it's off season .... I like this game!

Dede---just tried a brown dress w/ polka dots last week (pink would be cute!)
LOVED it, just couldn't stomach the $160 price tag! (now, for $twenty one, it would have been ALL mine! Go my bargain-hunting princess! )

Karen: We're totally in on the tshirt idea. As usual just tell me what & who I owe. I'm so happy that some else hates that lime green color. Really what were they thinking, lime green is not a Disney color (sorry Tink)

Did I tell you about the mix-up with the DCL gift I sent my friend on her CA cruise? SHort story, they open the door saw the gift (wonderful) read the tag (wrong name & message) called to tell and the gift was whisked away.....nothing more said. Until she got home and 1 1/2 hour later in our debriefing she say, "you almost got credit for a great suprise...." I nearly died. I called DCL and they told me a manager would call back, that was 2 weeks ago. I'm expecting that they will comp her a gift sent to her house. We'll see. She did a survey and old them the story and told them that she expects them to send me a comp gift on our cruise...nice but not the point....I wanted her & DD to have some magic from me & Molly. Oh well, moral of the story, should I have told her to look for her suprise?

I gotta get my suprise ordered from Shirley....I keep waiting to see what DCL does for Xmas loot, I've been told it will happen.

Off to Wilson's assement, perhaps he be bumping to first grade... Don't ya teachers love crazy mom's like me (NOT!!!)

We did the wine tasting on our 1st cruise, and plan on doing it again. I wanted to do the beer tasting last time, but I had to work that night (grumble grumble). I'm definately doing it this time. Might even do the martini tasting!

Anything but wine......I just can't stomach the stuff.

Hubby loves his wine tho...he has a favorite called Hatteras Red, we can only buy it on the outer-banks of NC. We're going to the PA Renaissance Festival next month, it's actually at the Mount Hope Winery. John samples new wines and buys himself a couple bottles when we go there.

Yay! Mom we all win this one!

I am a wine person, not much for beer and a martini would just put me out of operation! Once when we were in AK, a little boy looking at the tree of life said to his mom "Look mom, a Whino (Rhino)", I turned to Kayla and said I'm right here. Kayla just thought that was hysterical and brings it up often. We definitely laugh about that one! Ok you had to be there!

I'm gonna be right in there w/ ya'll--I love beer, wine, martinis, etc....
I know I sound like a lush/wino/rhino, but I am proud to say that I was never once drunk on our last cruise--this while feeling as though I drank nonstop daily from morning bingo on...(wait a minute...maybe that ISN'T something to be proud of! Dan is a beer only man, and pretty picky about his brands--now, again, I say this, but I recall a day on the ship were HE was drinking strawberry daquiris and I was drinking Miller Lite! We both did enjoy several of those chocolate bananas the last day on board (yum, yum, and alcoholic shake!) But whoever goes w/ me to the martini tasting keep an eye on me...cosmos are the one drink that can kick my butt, so I assume other martinis could do the same!
Gosh, we passed 2K and I missed it (I was looking, too!)...that and $2.80 gas here today. What a wonderful world!
Well, lazy night here...Dan has ANOTHER football draft, so the kid & I just vegging.
