Wil had his assement today, he's in Kinder for sure. Did know the whole alphabet, but transposed double digit numbers (hmmmmm...I still do that maybe I need to join that class)

Drinking....it's a good thing. Paul and I met in a bar over Kamikazes. The bar is called the Black Watch....just look for that pattern on the cruise ship, it has special meaning to us. We drink wine (not as much now as we did before kids) Paul loves a good beer, me Bud is fine. Our favorite right now is Margaritas, but I've also taken a liking to Rum & Coke(we call them Roman Pokes, long story I'll tell ya over one) lately too. Yes I'd answer to whino also...

Karen: Long sleeve, good idea. Are you planning on sourcing the kids sizes too? If you are THANK YOU!!!!!! You are my kinda friend.

Gotta check on the kids, it seems too quiet, ya know what I mean.

I would have let sleeping rats lie but, I came in the house and turned on the news to a story about a rat investation in Santa Rosa (just north of us) I guess it just time for rats and that's all there is to it.

I have these friends that do this (yes you on the Dis Board) We have a PE teacher at the kids school that does Jazzercize for the whole school every other Friday morning, well, I was in the wrong place at the right time, and I comitted me and another mom to trying it...so here goes...yes I also start Curves tomorrow after I leave my baby at Kindergarten, I'm really going to need some comfort food for all this hardship huh?

Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it (yes my inhaler is coming with me)

OMG you all have been busy! Thanks girls for all the great replies about my dress. Jill and Aisling: I'll get a picture up of it this weekend. I have neither the time nor the inclination to do it right now. btw, I AM an ample woman, but I'm still going to wears my polka dots

As Grim confirmed, we will be doing all the drinking activities..hehe...and we hardly ever drink at home, so we'll be a LOT of fun (or really obnoxious...)

Karen: I have a picture of a mickey head with a santa hat. If you're interested in seeing it, let me know. You're welcome to incorporate it into your design if you wish. No biggie if you don't want. I think the tshirts are a great idea, and I love long sleeved tshirts.

Kris: good luck with Curves. I am a member, but haven't been since school started up again I guess I'd better get my **** in gear so I'm not whining about my body at cruise time.

Nan: Speaking as a teacher. Kids who are too smart for their grade need to move up if they're mature enough. One of my best friends, that I also happen to teach with, moved her daughter up from K to 1st grade last year. It was a rough first couple of weeks, but after that, she did great! Go for it!

Dede: I was totally speaking tongue in cheek about Wilson, he is really an average kid, smart but average. We are also lucky at our school the approach is geared toward teaching each child at there level so we really don't have any issue about him not being challenged. Also the fact that part of the curriculum is in Spanish (math mostly at K level) is ok, since that is his strong suit, he can afford the "setback" per se until he will be fluent in a short while.

It is hard for me to hear your story of drug busts. What the heck are these parents thinking...I'm not ignorant to the bad situtations amoung us but I just get so pissed sometimes at how it happens that our teachers end up being put in that kind of crappy place to deal with stuff like drugs at school.

okay, I'm still in my mood, better get my shower now the hot water is refilled in the water heater.
