We have been to Disney many times but this year we will be going over the holidays We plan on Epcot for Christmas Eve and Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom for Christmas Day Then New Year's Eve at Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. Which would you pick and why? There are no young children in our group and alcohol is not necessary. We are more interested in the atmosphere and we will be there for two weeks so rides are not key

MK will be a ZOO on both "eves" and Christmas Day.

Epcot will be able to handle the most guests, but still will be very, very busy.

DAK will be the least likely of the non-Epcot parks to "close" to further guests on those busy days,
but DAK will close earlier in the evening, as well.

Traditionally, Epcot is the "park-of-choice" for New Year's Eve at WDW.

In 2010, we did MK for Christmas Eve, and though it didn't close that day it was very busy. We were there well before rope drop and rode a number of our fav's early on like BTRR! We stayed til after Wishes and it was an amazing day! We had ADRs for Liberty Tree for dinner - a wonderful turkey meal! It is our choice park this Christmas Eve again. we spent Christmas Day at AK, again for rope drop. We rode everything we wanted numerous times! It was DD's favourite park and I knew it would be the "best" for Christmas day crowds. We left by noon, rested all afternoon, had ADRs at Kona for dinner and toured the monorail resorts afterwards to enjoys the decorations! It was awesome! We checked out Dec 26th so I can't add anything more to your questions! Happy planning!

We were at WDW last NYE week and will be back this NYE week again! The fireworks for NYE are amazing! IT was busy, but we had a great time! We did RD, scheduled FP for the busy times, and took our time looking at the decorations. We did AK for NYE during the day and hopped over to epcot at 4pm. Worked great! Saved our FP for epcot and did RD at AK.
