Yes, it is a nice place... .other than all the rain. I think the ground is often so saturated here... I will never forget the one year we had a bit of a dry summer. I mean... the ground actually dried out and there was dirt under foot, rather than mud. The boys in the neighborhood started picking up fistfuls of the dirt (as though they were amazed) and proceeded to toss it in the air and watch if disperse in clouds. Funniest thing ever. It was as though they had never seen dry dirt... they were dancing around in it.

Well, I am a bit frustrated.... I just went back through and had to COMPLETELY redo all my plans. As if that isn't bad enough, the early CP ADR doesn't mean squat now. Park opens before my ADR. The only other day that CP opens earlier than MK now is on 12/12...but there is no openings. I need to watching the cancellation thread like a hawk now!!!

I did put in a room request today for WL... I hope that we can get it. I really want 5th floor, Inner Courtyard in the north wing... but... I just put in for Inner Courtyard North wing. As long as we are not on the first floor, we should be good. (watch..that is where they will place us ) Even that wouldn't be horrible if weather was nice and we spent time at the pool. But... Steve is picturing a lot of "out on the balcony reading time" sooooo first floor with people (OMG, can you imagine PEOPLE ) walking right by him sitting in his chair. (have I mentioned my husband is a bit antisocial?

12/04 Get 3 of 16 stores ready (8 remain)

I am not sure I will get it all done along with keeping up with the house. I did manage to take Zach shopping with me today so that he could pick out food for while we are gone. So at least that is done. I feel bad. When he first came back he was trying to rally some friends to go to Disney right after he comes off of his next drill duty. (after we leave, but while we are gone) He found one...and then decided he didn't want to spend that much money. Well, now... he had a buddy come up for the week and the amount he would have spend on the trip...well, he spent twice that. He wants to just go and crash on our room floor. I have had to tell him no... not only is it not allowed, but I wouldn't want that for any of us. Tripping over him again on this trip was not in my plans. I want him to go... but I don't want his HUGE body laying on my floor.

Sadly, I no more got my list made...and she started violently vomiting. Now my stomach hurts...but I am not certain that it isn't just paranoia. But...it doesn't feel right. I was eating after her at breakfast..and all afternoon as she lay down feeling "icky" I was snuggling her and gobbling on her face.

Isn't it a few minutes after the old opening time? I know mine and Amy's are for 8:05, 8:10. They are suppose to let you in like 20-25 mins before your ADR time I thought? So that means we should still be able to have the unobstructed view as planned?

Sitting waiting for bedding to finish in the dryer (did I mention how I hate vomiting?) I finished up the sheets for my itinerary. I will have to post the new plans.. they are all basically the same. Same park and same days, same ADRs (for now) All that changed was when in the day we hope to do things.

One thing I realized though that I forgot to add to my "to do list"

Mouskeeping Envelopes!!!!

I was debating just using a Christmas card this trip. I usually make them though so...

I am happy with what I have decided to do for the trip binder. Each year I attempt some new strategy. I like to have things accessible. Usually, a large binder with each element inserted. (itinerary vs. vouchers, vs misc. confirmations..flights...etc. I have tried to laminate the touring plans to try and save them from rain or water ride. Each year I try something new. This year... what new tactic did I decide was important? Simplicity... I wanted everything in one place..printed out with easy access. I think I have it this year. It will also be small (unlike the year I had a 8"x11.5" binder) It should fit easy into the bag and it will have everything. I am so excited to finish that tomorrow. maybe it will inspire me to figure out what do do with the mousekeeping envies.

don't you wonder? I mean..sometimes??? I wonder what my entire family will do once I am gone.

I always tell them that they WON'T notice I'm gone until they haven't eaten all day and the wrappers of snacks they opened are laying all over the place and that "Can I have a drink" question was never answered with a drink! Then they will panic and think 'Now how do you pour milk into a glass again, where are the glasses and why are there 3 different milks in the fridge? Which one is Damien's?' As for me they may find me and stick me on the curb because they will forget what to do with the body! So to answer you... YES Ann I wonder all of the time!

Yes, we do have some foliage...but not a lot. Washington is full of evergreen trees...some deciduous... but mainly evergreen. Here we don't have to rake. When we lived in the middle of the state we had a large Maple tree in the front... we had to rake then.

I would really enjoy not raking leaves! I have one tree that's tiny on my front property and for some reason I have so many leaves I could probably make 3-4 trees with them because the wind blows them to me!


I am sorry about you and Zoe not feeling well! I hope that it's just a little 24 hour bug that leaves as quick as it came! And your days leading to Disney do look tiring! I am sure that you can get it all done though, you seem to be on top of all of that! I do have to change my park days for a few of them and I didn't know that the holiday storytellers are only on Friday and Saturdays? I am reading that correctly? I may have to switch the days I go to FW and WS if that's the case....

Really? Only on Friday and Sat? I hope not. We are planning to go on a friday, but if that is the only day we will have to be able to do this...it worries me.

THIS website is what I am going off of for times and such so if that is right then yes only on Friday and Saturday the holiday story tellers come out! And it's very hard to fit a lot of them in thee without missing a few minutes of some and I fully skipped the American ones because well we learn about all 3 in schools in NY!
