Christmas all year long!

I cannot believe they suggested December 7. :confused3:headache:

The costumes are great and Zoe is a "beautiful" witch. And the picture of her and Josh had me laughing...Josh looks so darn serious. ;)

Love the pictures of Zoe she's real cute....

Well some bad news on my end today my DH lost his job... We haven't gotten the final word from his company since he's a contractor but come tomorrow when he goes vist HR we will know if it's a total fire or if they will locate him somewhere else.. So with this sad news it seems that our family trip might be postpon for the time being. I plan and plan but I did not save any money for this trip I was relying on my DH's next two paychecks to cover the cost of my trip.

Tomorrow I will have more info so I can tell you if we are still going or not.

Thank you for your concern.. I also hope things look brighter for me in the morning.. I have been down all day about this. I was REALLY looking forward to this trip. It was going to be my parents first time EVER going to DW. This trip is a surprise Christmas trip for my two girls it was going to be a real nice family trip with my parents..

:confused::sad2:

NO!!! This is not good. If it is just a relocation...would your trip still be on? I hope it all turns out for you! I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers:hug:

I am so sorry you were down all day. I understand though. The day that Steve learned he didn't have vacation and everything was up in the air as to if he would even be allowed to take the time off... I was pretty sad all day.

Maybe it will all work out still? I hope so... it sucks just the thought of having to postpone....but actually cancelling...:sad1:

I could only laugh when that was the date they picked. I actually think I laughed when the scheduler called to ask to set up her surgery because that alone was outside of what I was looking to do.

You should see Josh and their cat in costumes...they both look so very very serious.. (yes, they dressed the cat up like a chicken too:rotfl:)

Zoe's and Josh's costumes are great!!

Aren't they funny?

I really hope the dates for Zoe's surgery work out and that way we can enjoy the 30 day dance! :woohoo:

I have a bit of an update, but lets just say for now... I am even more sure that we won't be having surgery on the 7th (not that I questioned doing it on the 7th)

Your ticker says 29 days!!!!! You are UNDER a month!!!

So sorry to hear about your husband's job. I hope they are able to locate him somewhere else and not far away.

I know! :dance3::dance3:

And on another positive note....

So I will give you the full story...just so you can enjoy some ups and downs. After all, what is my PTR if not full of drama. I would hate to disappoint and just cut to the good ending... but rest assure there is a good ending. ;)

You all are aware of Zoe's recent struggles, the idea for a revision etc. We all also are aware that the hospital sent me some supplies to buy some time, right?

So as the last size 8 was used, we knew we had to use some supplies. We used a straight cath (not the most comfy to leave in place) and some tagederm to hold it in place. Went to bed that night...all went well. Went to school...all went well. Next night...slept again with it in and all went well. Waking though, she seemed more uncomfortable than usual. She had an outburst shortly before getting on the bus. Because of this, I planned to remove the cath once she got home and hope for the best.

However, we did not make it that long. During class, her teacher had to call down for the nurse to retrieve Zoe by wheelchair. Zoe was hurting so bad that she could not move. I imagine it was quite the scene and I can only imagine what the other children thought. :sad2: I instructed the nurse to remove the cath and see how she did. Once removed, the spasms stopped. :woohoo: Next test would be to see if cathing was doable again.. and since we siill have yet to receive the order of size 8... we only have the 10 so :scared:

Well, I am happy to report that the 10's are going in PERFECT! :woohoo::woohoo: Zoe is able to do it herself so I am pretty sure that I can tell the hospital that there is no need to do a revision any time super soon.
The only down side is her bladder is supper irritated. (lots of bleeding today :sad2:) But this seems like a win to me.

Looks like a good day! My ticker no longer reads 1+ month... Zoe is able to cath again... and well, not sure if this is good, but I am getting it taken care of before the trip...but I get my crown done today. :goodvibes:goodvibes

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: this news made my day...I've been so worried. Things are looking up and I have faith they will continue to do so.

I am also glad things are looking up for you! Breaks my heart that Zoe has to cath, and I could just picture that wheelchair scene. Hopefully after the trip you can get her all fixed up.

:thumbsup2 for Zoe's cath'ing and that the 10's are working!

:woohoo: for you officially being less than a month away!!! :dance3:

This makes today a GREAT day!!!

**and congrats on getting the crown taken care of! I hope that will be a piece of cake recovery for you! :goodvibes

Ann, let me tell you that I love all the good news (not sure if a new crown is good news :confused3, but if you need it .. ;))

Under one month :woohoo:
Zoe able to cath herself :thumbsup2

Let the trip countdown continue and let your trip be here soon! :yay: :woohoo:

Thanks... my face is finally starting to have sensation again... but now my mouth hurts a ton. I have such a bad jaw and having it propted open for so long..plus all the grinding and stuff... But it will be one less thing for me to worry about while on the trip.

Even the crown is good news..only because I really needed to take care of it. (I cracked a tooth back in April...but have not had a chance to get it fixed.) With my luck, I could just see it getting infected or completely breaking while in WDW.

Now you are truly a Queen, you have your crown.

I hope all goes well with it. It took me a long time to get use to mine, but now I don't even know its there.

Glad things are looking up with Zoe.

:rotfl: I know, right? ;)

Things are looking up for Zoe...only.. she conked out a while ago and I realized she is running a fever... so despite the fact she is on Cipro..she seems to have got some sort of bacterial infection going on (her temp is up over 101):sad2:

Great about the 10 cath working:thumbsup2 (not so good what happnened at school)...not so good that the poor baby has a fever/infection! :sad2: Hugs and prayers that she gets over the infection soon!

Sorry about the crown... but now that it's done, I guess it counts as a good think!

Hope Zoe feels better soon. Glad to hear that the size 10 catheter worked! :thumbsup2

See you guys deserve some good so some good came to you! I am happy that Zoe can do it herself, but sorry that she had to go through pain first. I hope that school kids are not being mean to her about it, although you will always have those few! So are you just going to stay with 10's or go back to 8's?

Oh and this ticker drives me nuts-- I liked that it said days and now it's back to weeks. I know it's less time than the days were, but I liked the word days instead of weeks! Makes it sound closer!
