Christmas all year long!

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: for Zoe coming through her surgery fine with no complications and being hungry right after to boot!

Thank you. :goodvibes
:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: So happy to hear that everything went OK with Zoe. And several of these, too :hug::hug:. No doubt, you've had an exhausting day. Hope everything is OK with DH, too.

Thanks so much. Yes, Steve will be fine. It is just related to his Chron's. Still... I had to taken him in.

:thumbsup2So glad that Zoe's day went better then your morning trying to get there! And I am totally amazed of having that done and then all she did this afternoon! I bet she loved the shoes, and wahoo on total out of pocket difference 2 cents!

It was a good day. Course, ya know how you want a good day to never end? :rotfl: Well, mine just might not.

:scared1:Hope all is okay with Steve tonight. Just tell him you have had enough of hospitals today and he has no choice but be better! Does that work?

I wish I could just tell him. But... I took him to the ER. Got him situated. Went back to get the kids dinner. A quick stop on Dis and I will be back to the hospital. At least this hospital is in town..so only a 5 minute drive (at most).
Thank-You-Dumbo.gif

I got my package today! What cleaver and sweet little gifts. I am so excited about one of them...it is going into my backpack or whatever I decide to carry in the parks so I can start my TR compliments of you!

I am so glad you got it ok. I hope everything arrived safe and sound. As I have mentioned to everyone...it wasn't much...and maybe a bit cheesy, but I wanted to send something out to those who participated. :goodvibes

Ann, I am delighted to hear that Zoe's visit to the hospital went well! Relief, relief! :goodvibes

I really hope Steve is doing better and well again pretty soon!

Hope your weekend is a quiet one without any "troubles".

Happy to hear that the operation for Zoe went well. Sorry to hear about your hubby Steve being in the hospital. I will continue to pray for your family...

Thank you so much for the kind words. Steve is doing much better today. Just a minor complication due to the Chrons disease...worst thing is it always seems to happen after hours. :sad2:

So happy to hear that everything went well with Zoe.

Let us know how Steve's doing. :wizard:

Thank you. I am very relieved that all went well with Zoe. I was a bad mom last night though. I totally forgot that things would work for her a bit different during the night since she had tubes in. I woke to her calling out for me twice. :sad2:

Steve is doing much better. I wish he had been able to get in to see the doc during office hours, but I guess the silver lining is we got to see and use the brand new hospital that we have in town. They completely demolished the old (I think built in the 40's) one. The old one was small had no "wings" and almost felt like you were stepping into the past when you entered. This new one is very large and there is no mistaking what time you are in when you enter.

Happy to hear that the operation for Zoe went well. Sorry to hear about your hubby Steve being in the hospital. I will continue to pray for your family...

Thank you for the prayers. I think we are having a pretty relaxed day. I will have a ton of laundry and cleaning... but I got movies for Zoe to watch and Steve plans to tinker with his electronics hobby. It is getting pretty chilly here so sitting around home I think is a wonderful idea for today.

I don't think it was cheesy at all...but fun and thoughtful!

So glad to hear that today is a quiet day and Steve is doing better! We are fixin' (love that Texas twang that this Colorado gril has now picked up 20 years later) to get a movie night started, just waiting for the cousins to walk down the street to our house. Pretty low key one tonight...I am tired!

How amazing to have the cousins live so close that you get to have movie night together! I am a bit jealous. I grew up with my father's side being pretty close. He was the 9th of 13 kids..so it was never dull when we spent time together. Currently, our nearest family live about 5 to 6 hours away and that is too far for them to even come to Kira's wedding.

Steve is home and doing much better. Thank you.

drum roll please........

Ridemax has Decembers times up!!! :woohoo:

Course, it is like I worried. The time I spend trying to formulate a plan for the first three days we go to the parks.... I shouldn't have gone to the trouble. If i want to follow the recommendations then what I have planned won't work. So I guess I am back to square one in planning for 12/12 to 12/14. I had started to plan 12/15... :sad2: I guess that is only a few days... besides it give me something to do.

So watch for updated plans. So far I am still getting expected wait times in the pretty low ranges. Granted I have only played a bit with 12/12 and 12/13.

:goodvibes

Ok so this is the first updated schedule. I am running this under a parallels program so it is a bit of hassle. Once I post this and am back in the real world (so to speak) I will add some photos to this. So that is what you all will see from here on out. First the post will come through with just the text and then shortly after I will get the pictures added. (however, tomorrow will be shortly cause I can't get this to work the way I want. So for now, no pictures)

This day will still start off like I first mentioned. We will get up and make our way to
MK-04-Entrance-Xmas.jpg

It will open at 8am for EMH. We will not be there at 8am but will attempt to get there shortly before 9am.

This will allow us to still get that bite to eat at
DSC_0094.jpg

before we jump into our schedule.

BTW, I don't want to make it sound like I am scheduling us to the minute. It is just a guide for the most part. I know if we stick to the times of day and the order ridemax suggested we will have things go pretty smoothly. However, it does give EXACT times to be at rides/attractions and how many minutes to expect to wait. (in case someone wondered how detailed ridemax gets in its itineraries)

First up will be
poc.jpg

Since it is listed as having a 2 minute wait, I will assume it will be a walk on. :woohoo:

Originally, I thought we would start with
IMG_1332.jpg

But I guess we will do this next. The boys however will still grab that
IMG_8718_resize.jpg

while Zoe and I ride.

After the ride, we will go see the
EnchTikiRm6746.jpg

It will be nice to see it restored to what it was before it went under new management.

Then the
The_Haunted_Mansion.jpg

I am excited to see the new queue?

Then it will be time to watch
WaltDisneyWorldSummer2011pc007-2.jpg

I had not put that on my original plan for the day. I know I would have realized once in the park that there was this show. (I have seen it so know what it is) However, it is nice to get it down on paper and add to the schedule.

The plan then gives us a bit of free time before we board the
DSCF3832.jpg

Perfect to stop in the little shop across the way and browse its goods.

After we leave the Riverboat, we will stop to see the presidents in the
WDWAugust2007138.jpg

Finally, it will be time for lunch at
vac1166.jpg

Then we will go back to
WL-Xmas-Tree-01.jpg

I really do hope weather is nice since we will be devoting a good deal of time here. (roughly 2pm to 7pm)

We will probably take a boat to CR from WL and then take the monorail in order to get to our dinner at
Ohanasign.jpg

We will want to make sure to take in the holiday decor while at the Polynesian.

Once dinner is over, Alex will likely go off on his own and enjoy EMH at MK. As I mentioned previously, depending on how tired we all are, we may or may not join him.

This day we will use 6 snack credits (leaving 38), 4 quick service credits (leaving 40) and 4 table service credits (leaving 40)

Ridemax gives a total wait time of 54 minutes for all these activities with 27 minutes of walking between activities.

Great, now I have even more reasons to be out of bed at 3:00 am!

SO....thanks to your post I went and purchased my subscription and now for the last 3 hours (mind you WEE HOURS of the morning) I have been playing...and thanks to you I have cancelled 4 ADRs, made 3 new ones...and added a quick service...ditched the F! plan and changed 3 park days. My I have been busy and I owe it all to you!

QUESTION: What is this?.... I am running this under a parallels program so it is a bit of hassle...

QUESTION: how much time do you have the program factor in for table service meals?

You have been busy. Wow! I will have to jump over to your PTR to see what changes you have made.

As for your first question... I have a mac so I can't run the program directly on it. (there is the new web ap, but I don't like it as well as the other) So I have to run a program that sets up a "fake" windows desktop. It makes it seem like a pc...and it is the only way to download ridemax to my computer. however it is complicated more by the fact that parallells is only on Steve's profile and all my documents are on mine. It is a hassle for sure!

And for your second... it depends on the restaurant. I usually say about 30 minutes for cs and about 60 to 90 for ts. (buffets for example 60)

Great, now I have even more reasons to be out of bed at 3:00 am!

I noticed you were on dis when I posted and figured it was pretty much the middle of the night for you. I hope you got some rest!!

I have not really posted anything yet, still tinkering.

that makes sense...I thought it was something like that but I did not want to miss something with my new toy

That was what I was thinking...

Rest...:rotfl2: not when I have a new toy to play with and change everything! Guess what I am doing while the guys watch football...still messing with my ADRs! No thanks to you my friend.

Actually I was waiting for my mother to call about my godfather as they were expecting him to pass last night and I just could not sleep. I saw you were on at the same time...sure wish I knew how instant messaging worked and we could have talked!

I am so loving RIDEMAX...although I really only have 2 days that I can actually plan for...but I searched TP plans and found compareable days that I can play with.

I am sorry to hear about your godfather. No wonder you were not asleep.

When I saw you on, I thought the same thing...but I wasn't sure how to do instant message on dis.

I am glad you like ridemax. I have had it for all my trips except our very first one. It is an awesome guide. I have never ever come to a ride that the plan noted to be a short wait and had it be a long one. My dates I am playing with are still early enough in the month, but so far it looks like crowds won't be too horrid. This makes me worry a tad less.

So January dates are not up yet? That is very frustrating. When I emailed the company originally wondering when I could expect the December dates, they emailed me back saying it would be around the 15th of October. So maybe January will be the 15th of November.

OH NOOOOOO!!! I'm succumbing to the peer pressure!!!

Do I dare venture into ridemax? I need something to tinker with.... or do I? :rotfl:

I'm so out of sorts here lately that the distraction might be just what I need! :upsidedow

Amy....I have to tell you that RIDEMAX is so much fun to play with! :rotfl2: I keep messing with it when I have lots better things to be doing...like getting that folded laundry off the couch.

:rotfl: It is fun to mess with isn't it? It is almost like it encourages tinkering. You add a break here or add that you want to have a runner go for fps and poof, the entire plan can change.

BTW, I have laundry too... a basket behind me to put away...but I wanted to play a bit with ridemax too. :goodvibes

Well, I have about 6 loads piled on the couch, not folded... so I guess I should go check out ridemax first!! :lmao:

Had not wanted to complain, but I spent much of yesterday feeling icky. Then last night my stomach really was hurting... so I have been feeling kinda bla today. Well, I have to share that I just had something happen to brighten my day.

I called the right phone booth in Epcot and the person who answered said "hello, Ann" How cool was that? Thanks so much, Betsy for brightening my day with a little magic!!!!! :goodvibes

I hope your week there goes by super slow and you have an AWESOME time!!!!
