This was during your September 2010 trip, and this is Zoe, of course, and she (with everybody else obviously) is at Mama Melrose restaurant in DHS, where you had dinner before Fantasmic!
I am sorry I missed yesterday. A lot has been going on in the last few days
1. Zoe's school called and needed a doctors note for everything (including saline) before she could start school. The level of detail they need is odd. I questioned it and I got a "well, we need to know in case she becomes unconscious" Ok, my thought is if my daughter is unconscious, there are bigger issues than making sure her bladder is empty.
2. I called back to my speicalists office to ask if I REALLY needed to be seen. The nurse said she would run it by the doc. She looked at the records and told me she didn't see why this would be urgent and thought a repeat visit in 6 months would be sufficient.
3. The silly nurse from the previous day called back to say she showed the test results to the doc and she was completely wrong. It is serious enough to not only be seen, but that they moved my appointment to this coming Wednesday. I was told I should expect at least a couple biopsies to be taken
4. Zoe had her last post op visit. It looks as though she has not quite shaken this infection. And since it is still the pretty nasty virus, she has to still be on isolation protocol while there. So another course of antibiotics and hopefully it will clear it. I mean...after all it has been since she was admitted back at the end of June that she has this.
5. At the end of Zoe's visit the doctor mentioned that he thought he would be seeing us before the next 6 month visit because of the merry go round thing she is doing with the infection. So given that, I asked what he planned. Darn evasive not wanting to give bad news thing they do makes me think there is more here. He looked stunned and just said we would need to reset her gut. That if the course of antibiotics wasn't working we would have to do something different. He would not elaborate. I think he means that she will need to be readmitted to have a course of iv antibiotics.
So I did not get a chance yesterday to put up a pic. I didn't do much if any dis yesterday. I have been pretty tired lately. On the plus side, my arm is completely better. My joints are all sore still though...and I wish I could shake this feeling like I have the flu. I am glad I won't need another tetanus/pertussis shot for a long time...I am getting to old for immunizations when my body feels like this afterward.

And you have a lot of cute pictures of Zoe, but I really like her eyes in this one - kind of an almost ideal picture of a little girl.
Dang Fred, you are good!
That was awesome! I would have never guessed the "where"!
I would have known the where, but not the other details.
Hi, Ann. I actually read this the other night, when you had first posted it, but I was so tired, I didn't comment.
So you deserve about a zillion of these:
Hope you're feeling better and sorry Zoe's school is making things so difficult. And yes, I hate it when doctors sugar coat things and don't tell you the whole deal. No, really, tell me now, it'll make it easier in the long run, really.
Hope you had a great weekend.![]()
I'm glad your arm is feeling better. Hopefully, your achiness will subside soon! When did you decide on your doctor's appt? That was a nosy question, wasn't it??But you need to take care of you, too!
And I'm sorry that Zoe is still fighting that crazy infection. I hope your weekend has been somewhat restful for you all.
Kira and Zoe...Kira being the great big sister holding her sisters hand!

Ann...you will be in my thoughts and prayers on Wednesday...gotta get yourself well...mom is not allowed to be sick.
Yummy...blackberry pie! I think I could go for that PE class! I used some fresh peaches from my sister's trees in a cobbler this weekend...nothing better than fresh fruit that you picked yourself. I have got to get working on my choke cherry juice and make jelly. I am proud that I boild the juice off the night we got home...now it sits in the freezer...
We will also be going to MVMCP, but ours is the 18th, which is our arrival day (up at 4 am to get 7 am flight - yuk). This was the only date that worked for us to start our vacation, and it is the last date for MVMCP, so we will make the best of it. Hope to visit some resorts to check out decorations during the day, maybe get a nap in (get kids to nap at WDW - nah, and I am just a bigger, grayer, kid).
