Christmas 2014 Gift Ideas

On the xmas list is

dd and boyfriend - season passes to cedar point
dd and husband - season passes to the zoo
dd11 - no clue. - season passes to "clean your room" :duck:
ds - New tv?, lazy boy chair?

Husband can fill in the rest. Mom's only good for one gift.:rotfl:

all the nieces/cousins and Disney watches for the nephews/cousins. I happened to get a great deal several times at CVS and got $10 sets for $5!!! I hope to do something similar this year. I have been thinking about doing a movie theme this year and getting movie tickets, but so far the cheapest I have found any are $7.50-$8.00/each.

My SIL is horrible at letting me know what to get her kids for Christmas so I decided last year to go the "family" gift route. It made is so much easier for me.

Last year I did a movie night. I got $5 Redbox gift card, a pizza making kit, blank kid sized aprons from Michael's, and fabric markers so they could decorate them, and individual popcorn bags for each person. Everyone loved it.

DD16 went with me to look at our new FiveBelow store. She was excited about the make up kits, headphones, funky socks...These are all items that we buy regularly, but I think it was the "everything under $5" that made her say "I'm doing my Christmas shopping here." Found a Mindcraft keychain for her bf.

She is so easy going that any gift or trinket is adored. I did find her a book on Amazon that teaches the chemistry behind baking. Her chemistry teacher told her at the start of the school year "If you can balance the equation, you can bring in desserts to the classroom."

Not a fan of One Direction..she is a Black Veiled Brides and also Blood on the Dance Floor fan. (Love the band names LOL) So, maybe a tshirt.

Last year, she received a 3D puzzle of the Eiffel Tower. She built it immediately.

Maybe I'll do some family gifts. I need to think about that one!

I'm all about budget shopping for Christmas.

Last year for my newly married SIL and her family we gave a family zoo pass for the year-they love to take their daughter every Sunday when weather co-operates. Cost was less that doing an individual gift for each person.

Grabbed one of those fudge in a box kits from Carnation. It only required a couple of Tablespoons of butter from the fridge. DD16 made it up (with the help of her little brother, age 3). Perfect results. She said, "I didn't know you use marshmallows in fudge" We are going to change the chocolate chips to peanut butter chips for an experiment.

I've been lurking forever so while you don't know me, I feel like I've been around a very long time. I saw some of you mentioned Jamberry on Christmas lists and wanted to let you know I'm a consultant and would love to answer any questions. There are also some Disney inspired designs offered not on the main Jamberry site so let me know if you're interested!

I'm confused by this. Can you only order them through a consultant? I see some my DD might be interested in, but I don't really want to have a party.

Oh you definitely don't have to have a party! I think it's easier to order from a consultant because then if you have any questions, need some tips or tricks, or want to exchange your order you have an actual person to go to for assistance versus the national website which is generic. Plus, consultants have access to the consultant designed wraps, like the Disney inspirations, whereas the national website not affiliated with a specific consultant only offers the Jamberry company designs. My website is my10prettynails.jamberrynails.net if you want to browse/order or have any questions!
