Does anyone know when prices are coming out for 2010? I am in charge of booking a package for 8 people for Dec 26-Jan 2 2011.

Disney usually releases the next year's pricing in late summer / early autumn.

I realize that this is vague....but we are dealing with Disney.

Thanks Kevin....Last Christmas was easier because it was only 2 of us so we got a room at AKL in late late Oct. This year I thought I would start early seeing that it is for 8 people haha

I am planning on going Dec 5 -11 2010 and my TA said to expect prices in August. As soon as they are released, I will be booking a package. Now you can book a room only ressie 500 days out, then can switch to a package later.

You can not transform a "room only" reservation into a package.

These are handled by two different Disney systems.

If there is availability, it is easy to cancel the "room only" and rebook the package. If availability is tight, this is more difficult.
