Michelle, First I want to say that I was thinking of you all day yesterday and I hope your day was spectacular! And if you're having trouble forgiving me I'll just ask you..."Who can complain about more cake and wishes a day later???" {{{HUGS}}} to you! I am sincerely praying about this job Michelle, and asking God to bless you through this process of searching. Believe me I know that the process can seem like ANYTHING but a blessing sometimes but I also know He is working in your life and leading you in His paths! , I am so full of excited anticipation for what our Father is doing in your life...and what better time of year to be expectantly waiting than in advent!!!

And ya'll when our waiting goes on for a looooong time (as it seemed to for Israel as she was waiting for her redeemer) it is a reminder to us of how we are to live before our God ALWAYS...not living in fear but in CONSTANT expectation and anticipation of what He is working out through and in our lives...He has begun a good work in each of us and He is FAITHFUL to complete it! The waiting is incidental...it HAS ~BEEN DONE~ WOOHOO!!!!! Do you all know which command in the Bible is repeated the most often???? It is, "DO NOT BE AFRAID" or "FEAR NOT"! God, our Father, is the God who raises the dead!!! Too often we idolize fear and the things that we can be afraid of, despite the fact that we are helpless to change ANYTHING! Our fears seem to escalate in times of waiting. When we drop it ALL and pick up what God has for us (and we do the "picking up" by lifting our hands in surrender to HIM) then we have nothing else to do but to WAIT in excited anticipation (because His promises are true) and to stand and allow Him to UNFOLD all of His plans in our lives. The joy in this simple act carries us through all kinds of fear and trials and strife-filled circumstances, and brings BLESSINGS in all of these things as well, as we allow the surpassing God to do exceedingly MORE than we could ever imagine or expect!!!! We sing...I Can Only Imagine about heaven... and it is thrilling to dwell in expectant anticipation on our eternal rest...but the God of the Bible and of our Savior Jesus Christ has given us His Holy Spirit to usher in HIS KINGDOM NOW...THROUGH US in each day we are given!!!! This is why and ONLY why I can say today, in ALL circumstances, "I will pray to you and bless your name and give GLORY and HONOR AND PRAISE to the LAMB who sits upon the throne!! For you alone, Father, Jesus, and Holy Ghost are worthy to be praised!! You alone have given up all, choosing death upon a cross, to bring me to your side. You alone have the power to conquer death and in so doing You remove all of the chains that bind us to fear!! I will WAIT on YOU, my conquering Hero, my Redeemer, Lover of my soul and all-sufficient Maker of my heart!!!"
Can you tell he's been workin' in me? I am in tears over the words He's spoken to me and I am dumbfounded that I am sharing this all now... because He speaks words over me through my own lips sometimes. I am so profoundly aware right now that the closer I draw myself into Him the harder the pull comes from the other side to tear me away from my Father's embrace. BUT I am full of joy as my fingers go crazy on this keyboard because I know that my Daddy loves me so incredibly to take this moment to teach me to hold firm and wait in ALL THINGS.

Michelle, I am praying for you...I am praying for each of you because you are dear to me. Thank you for the way each of you lifts Him up in your songs and even in your requests for prayer. My greatest prayer for you all is that you would know His advent (arrival) EVERYDAY ...expectantly awaiting... in a posture of surrender...the ONE who knows the plans HE has for you!!
