Sis and Jen, thank you for all of your prayers. It really means a lot to me.

I am feeling a little bit better today, I just wish my mom could see Jesus through me. I pray every night that Jesus would use me to be a light to my parents and that they would want to come to know Jesus. I just wish I could make my mom see that I am not in some kind of cult( because I know she thinks that, she has told me that). She thinks I don't love her because she does not go to church, but that is not true at all and I have told her that. I told her going to church is something I wanted to do and I am doing it for myself, but if she would ever like to go with me, I would be more than happy to have her join me. In a lot of ways it feels like satan is using my mom, becasue he does not want me to follow Jesus.

I am sorry for babbling on like this and thanks for listening to me.

Please don't apologize. You are in my prayers. I pray for that door to your mom's heart to be opened to the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray for wisdom for you in your relationship with her. I pray for the love of Christ to flow between you.



Just shine your light. Shine it in your actions for a while and try not to do too much talking. Shine your joy, so that she can see how happy you are and how much you love her. She may just need to "see" and can't really be open enough to "hear" yet.

It's a Receptionist position with the nursing home that my Grandpa is at, how neat would that be? So anyway, I would appreciate your prayers that if this is God's will I would be able to get it. Thanks a bunch!

Things went really well when I went in today. I filled out my application and when I turned it in the girl said the Office Manager would want to see me so I had a mini-interview while I was there as well. There were two other women there filling out applications too and the Office Manager did not see them so I felt good about that. She said she would probably know something by Friday so keep praying!
