Okay, Rajah's deserted on an Island thread has inspired me. If you guys had to give away all of your cds/tapes/records except for 10, which ones would you choose to keep? I want to cry and it's only hypothetical! LOL This is hard for someone who has about 1,000 if you count all three forms... Okay on with the show. I would pick in no particular order.

I'm about to change my mind and allow myself to have 20! LOL I'm willing to wager that at least half of yours will be P&W. BTW, I doubt that anyone cares but I'm really tired of hearing "Breathe" since 3,000 people have recorded it and it's all I ever hear on the radio anymore then we go and sing it at church tonight. Ugh, please, nobody sing this song for awhile!

Hi all! Busy weekend here...I sang at Good Friday service yestersday. It was one of those 3 hour services with different pastor's preaching every 25 minutes. I did a song in each segment. People asked, "how did you do that?" It's really nothing when you think of people doing a concert with all the songs they prepared. It was only 7 songs!! Well anyway the service was really good with a lot of different elements in it that made it a very inspirational and reflective Good Friday.

One really simple illustration that was used was at the end of the service and it was a story that I thought was so simple and yet so neat:

"A boy lost his way and couldn't get home. When some people tried to help him find his way he wasn't sure what to tell them.
Finally he said, 'Do you see that cross up there on that church at the top of the hill?'
'Yes,' the people replied.
He then said, 'I know that cross. If you can get me to the cross I'll know my way home.'

Isn't that SO simple but SO true for all of us?!
