I have a request too...DS's friend's mom is having surgery tomorrow. She has no faith that I am aware of. She, (Lily) is really scared and I would request that you all pray for her and for me as I have opportunities to talk to her...

A story,

I was taking a lasagna to Lily (mentioned above) and as I left her house an elderly woman drove up to us and was seriously lost. I offered to lead her in my car to where she was headed. Lily witnessed all of this. I thought it was NO coincidence that that woman showed up there right at that time...especially considering where she was headed and how way off course she had gotten. She had been "directed" by other people along her way...but obviously she desparately needed someone to lead her to her destination. Also, consider the fact that I was delayed in delivering my lasagna and I originally felt bad that I couldn't keep to my schedule!! But, God allowed me to help that lady, (Elizabeth) AND to be a witness of sacrificial caring (rarely exhibited in today's busy world) to Lily at the same time.

This may seem insignificant to most. However, never underestimate the Lord's leading and timing in the tiny everyday experiences you encounter. He moves, and we... if we're smart... allow it!

I'm just catching up on reading the posts from the last couple of days. Jill, this doesn't seem "insignificant" at all!!!
And you are so right that we have to<U> allow</U> Him to move. It's our choice to be usable or not.

Jill, they sang "You're All I need" when I saw them last March too. I was so surprised that it sounded as awesome live as it did on the cd. I totally didn't expect them to sing it because it was one of those songs that you think, that can't be done live, but they pulled it off. It was excellent! I'm so in the mood to see them again.
