Hi all! I haven't posted in awhile, but I have been lurking! I have prayed for all your requests...keep us posted on how things are going!

I have a request if you don't mind! DD is taking part in the "30 Hour Famine" thruogh World vision with her youth group. It happens this Fri./Sat. They get sponsors to raise money for the hungry and go without food for 30 hours(they do drink juice, etc.). She REALLY wants to do this and I agreed since a classmate is also doing it - it will help to have someone else at school to give support! They stay up all night Fri. and do various activities to keep their minds off their empty bellies! Then the leaders feed them dinner/supper late Sat. afternoon. Please pray that she won't get sick and that this will be a good experience for her and her friend! Thanks guys!!

Do any of you know anything about Greg Long? He is coming in concert on DD's B-day and that might be fun, but I don't think I know any of his songs...maybe I do and just didn't know it was him

Stamper, so good to see you back! I missed you and glad to hear you're doing well! Our Youth Group does the 30 Hour famine too. It is a great experience for the kids. It really changes their thinking and helps them to understand the suffering of others too. I will pray for her!! Praying for you too as I know you're busy!I think we should just give up on the idea of snow for now.

Michelle, I know what you mean about 4HIM pulling off that song so well live! It was AWESOME! I could stand to see them again too. Iam praying for you. I hope all is going well with your job and everything. In that Avalon song my favorite line is "You're the heartbeat of all I do, I can't live a day without You."

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been here the last couple of days. I've been really tired and just haven't felt much like posting. I did read all of your posts and have prayed/will continue to pray for all of your requests.

Stamper, you will like Greg Long. He sings a lot of really great songs. Mercy Said No, Days Of Grace and What A Friend are some of his more popular songs along with Sufficiency of Grace, which you mentioned. An interesting tid-bit about him, he's married to one of the girls in Avalon and his parents and younger brothers are gospel singers. They came to my old church quite a few times when I was younger.
