Hi everyone! Its finally the last week of classes and Im beyond happy right now. I have five more classes, three finals, and 3 observations left before Im done with the semester!
In regards to Disney, Weve had a bit of bad news. As of a April 10, no other couples wanted our wedding date. However
..apparently on both our date [June 27] and our backup date [June 26], the entire Grand Floridian has been booked out thanks to a conference. Im really not thrilled with this news at all but Ive accepted it now and Ive moved on.
We now have the following locations that we can do. Each had their pros and cons but so far we have a favorite. Ive emailed Michelle [who is wonderful so far with all of my questions, bugging, harassing for crazy ideas and everything!] to try to set up a visit to see ADH because Ive never seen it. Im trying to schedule this for when my mom is down in May so she can see it as well.
Our Options are:
1. Ballroom at the Contemporary
Pros: Can still use outside florist for all floral, on the monorail loop so if people didnt want to drive they could always take the monorail, and its very close to Wedding Pavilion. Would use the one room with the patio.
Cons: DF was not a fan of this room. He did not think we had enough people/decorations to make it work.
2. Ballroom at the Yacht Club
Pros: Can still use outside florist for all floral
Cons: Would have to provide transportation, very far from Wedding Pavilion
3. Atlantic Dance Hall
Pros: Cool Theme, On the boardwalk so it gives it a cool view
Cons: Would have to provide the transportation, Cannot use outside florist for reception floral
Right now, were leaning towards the Atlantic Dance Hal. Well decide for sure in May. Much to my dismay, this means we have to adapt the Invitations that Victoria from Something Printable is making me! I love them and I cannot WAIT to share each and every item with you ladies!
I cant remember if I shared that we booked Randy Chapman for Engagement Photos. My best friend will still be taking some for us in the summer but we needed really good ones and [this might be silly] but we wanted Disney ones! Well be taking those on May 25th and our plans right now include Caribbean Beach and All-Star Movies Resorts. Chris made me an appointment Friday and just surprised me today that Ill be getting my hair done at American Beauty/Captains Chair Salon at the Contemporary. Ill be having a hair trial with Beaute Special in January because of more photos! Can you tell what one of the most important aspects of our wedding is? Im ADDICTED to photos. The military has the right to snatch Chris away from me whenever they want. So if he is not here and I have photos of our memories and events
.it makes it easier to deal with at least for me. In January well be doing our engagement a photo with The Arndts who we are planning on booking for the wedding. Im beyond excited about this shoot as I think these photos will be something slightly unexpected from the couple!

..Time to try to wrap this novel up. Thanks for reading it! I worked on my garter and flower girl flower ball this weekend and bought some gifts for the girls. I also worked more with Victoria from SomethingPrintable to create some pretty cool buttons that Im going to be using to ask my bridesmaids and flower girls to be part of the wedding.
Oh. I also talked to Michelle and we are good on Glow Sticks and Ears to be purchased by me for the Dessert Party. I just have to put someone in charge of carrying them into the park with us. Hiiii Aunt Katharine, got a job for you!!!
Good luck with the choices. I think ADH looks so cool from all of the pics so that's probably what I would go with. Can't wait to see what you decide!
