Thanks!!! The post card process gets a little expensive but it's worth it. I love sending him the cards so he's happy.

Venue-wise....not really. I've kinda just tabled that until I get a chance to talk to DF in person about ADH.

What an awesome idea to Skype with Chris during the site visit! Sucks that Thomas can't Skype so we couldn't do that...but he got to see pictures.

I was hesitant about Atlantic Dance Hall as well since you have to use Disney Florist...but if you think about it, the dance hall doesn't need much decor at all. We also found out that we can bring the vases that Jonathan's flowers will give us for our bouquets so we can put them on the head table...Disney didn't seem to have an issue with that. I think the only decor we are going to do is a small centerpiece on the tables downstairs...I'm not certain though...I'll have to check our BEO when I get off work.

Our wedding was 3 years ago at ADH and I just want to let you know that it was really a wonderful place for our reception. We had 50 people attend and everyone love the venue. It was so different.

We had a morning ceremony in Epcot so we did a brunch reception at ADH. Our pre reception was from 10:00 to 11:00 upstairs and our reception was from 11:00 to 3:00 downstairs.

I know you said your mom was not thrilled with the outside of ADH but it made for some wonderful pictures. You can even have your name on the marque. Our guests loved this and I think everyone of them took a picture of the marque.

Here is how the main floor was set up - we had 50 people - so we had 5 tables of 10 and then our Sweetheart Table.

All in all - ADH was a beautiful place and I would highly recommend it to use as your venue for your wedding.

OUR ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS SHIPPED!!!

That's really my only update at this exact moment. I'm going to work on getting an update typed up and posted today about what I've purchased and anything that's been going on so far!

Hi girls!

While I was in Florida, I purchased a bunch of items at Walt Disney World for our wedding!

I got these ornaments for our parents! I’m going to get them engraved with “Thank You” on one side and “The Saunders” on the other.

I got our ear hats for our flower girls and for ourselves! I’m not too happy with the way mine turned out but I figure I’m not going to be wearing in the rest of my life, just on our honeymoon. It’s fine for that!

I also bought an album for our wedding photos. I’m slightly in love with it and I can’t wait to fill it with photos of our special day.

I got two coloring books, one for each of the flower girls’ gift bags. And it’s taking all of my willpower not to color in them myself!

I also started collecting glow items from Disney for our dessert party!

And my frivolous purchase was these photo-holders. As of right now, I’ll be putting a photo of us in there with a thank you note for coming.

That’s about all that is new at this moment. Our engagement photos are ON their way and I cannot wait to see them. We’re headed down to my mom’s for today and tomorrow. I start my job on Monday!

So we're less than one week from finding out our date!!! My excitement level is through the roof at this point and getting higher.

Last weekend, we went to the mall on Sunday and ended up buying my wedding band! It's a white gold band with channel set diamonds to match my ring. I'm slightly in love.

In other news, we got our engagement photos which were taken by Randy Chapman. I'll post my favorites soon when I'm not posting from my phone!*

And last but not least for this post, I made a mock-up for the wedding invites!*

The third ring on my finger is a intertwined hearts ring that DF gave me in March of 2011, before we got engaged in May. It was his promise to me to always be there and always stay connected and in love with me. I've worn it every day since he gave it to me and I have no clue what I'll do after our wedding.

I'm in love with invites! I really am. Victoria has done an amazing job both designing them and dealing with my crazy mind!

Tonight I finished the flower balls for the flower girls! I'd started these back in March. We bought 6 bunches thinking that would be plenty. Wouldn't you know...It wasn't.

In April, we went back to the store to buy more of the silk flowers [since we went with silk] and they were gone!!! [This was a 2 hour drive to get there]. So after nagging customer service....We got them to agree to order me them! We ordered 12 bunches. They told me they would call me when they came in...

Fast forward...It' s the 1st day of June and I havn't heard anything. I give them a call and they are like "Oh! We were hoping you'd call. We couldn't find our number!" Yeah.

So we went up there this weekend to pick them up! It ended up actually being their tent sale week/weekend so EVERYTHING [including my special flowers] was 50% off!

We picked up the dozen bunches and then 4 more bunches as well just for insurance. We ended up having about 6 bunches left.

So tonight, while DF was at the Orion [Metallica] Concert, I did wedding crafts! I finsihed the balls for the flower girls. Each ball has a silver ribbon holder and little blue picked jewels in each flower.

Overall, I think they look pretty good. The cost was not too bad. You could make these so much cheaper if you are not weird like me and hate silk flowers so you choose to use flowers that end up costing a ton because they look less-fake.

Final Cost:
Flowers and 1st Ball: 23.12
Jewels: 4.00
Flowers [Second Set, just what was used]:24.75
Silver Ribbon and 2nd Ball: 4.79

Total Cost: 56.66
