Choosing your seat on BA

Does anyone know how much per person each way it costs to choose your seat in advance on BA traveling from the UK to Orlando?

Hi,
I am in Orlando just now, flew out with BA. As 2Tiggies said it is 28 pound per person to pre book but if you do on line check in 24 hours in advance of flight it is free to choose seats. Also if travelling with children under 12 they will allocate you seats 5 days in advance but you are also free to change them at on line check in. I am a nervous flyer and wondered whether to pay for peace of mind but there was plenty of seats to choose from when I checked in on line. I am glad I didn't pay the money.

Oh I forgot about the early allocation for kids - we got ours pre allocated a week ahead, which was earlier than they suggested they would do it. I was actually quite happy with the seats we were allocated. A series of issues led to a last minute change of seats at check in due to a plane change on the day we flew out and then everything was thrown out the window anyway. They do say they will refund you if your seats are not available and you have pre paid but I don't see why they should be sitting on my money earning interest for months on end and then still wait for them to refund just the base amount paid if their own errors lead to a change. I'd rather use the money to pre pay extra luggage - which I did. They won't split up children from their families.
