Everyone raves about the Chocolate Wave and it does look delicious. But since it's all chocolate, it looks very rich too. Has anyone asked for ice cream or extra whipped cream to go along with it, to help cut the sweetness? Thanks!
I love cake, but I was disappointed in the Chocolate Wave. To me, it was a bit boring...it was basically an upside down cupcake with some flakes of chocolate on top and some sugary glaze in the center. I don't recall it having a liquor taste.
I've seen some great pictures of the cupcakes at the MK Main Street Bakery. I'm going to check those out this time. Also there was a mini bundt cake that looked delicious!
Somewhere on here, there's a thread going with photos of desserts or snacks. I can't remember which. I wrote down every one I want to try. Good thing there's lots of walking in the parks. Ha!
Norway has some neat bakery items too.
Also read where the Writers Stop in DHS has carrot cake sandwich cookies, with creme cheese frosting in the middle.
On our last trip to the coral reef I had the chocolate wave. I ordered ice cream on the side or it would have been too sweet for me. I believe they charged $2.50 for a small scoop of ice cream and that was in 2008.
