Yes, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE Chocolate milk :goodvibes It's my breakfast & afternoon snack everyday. :lovestruc

I obsessed with it and need to have at least 2-3 half gallons in my fridge at all times, becasue I can't deal with life when I run out!!! Oh, and I can only drink one brand - Organic Valley - the BEST!!!! Too bad it costs $4.99 :scared: per half gallon, but regardless, I must go through 4 of them every week.

I don't buy the premade stuff because it's full of HFCS, which I am trying to totally eliminate. Same goes for the Hershey's syrup. And the Nesquick powder is too clumpy. So I buy the organic choc. syrup at Trader Joe's and we use that. It makes some yummy chocolate milk!!!

I buy it premade, but only when it's on sale. Even then it is still expensive, but it's only on sale once in a while.

I don't really like the powder mixes or choc syrup, but sometimes it's okay when I don't have the real thing. In fact, I could really go for some choc milk right now, wonder if I have any Hershey's syrup in the house....

I had a glass of it earlier.. yumm....

Not a big milk fan in general, but when we go to Iowa to visit family I always buy Prarie Farms brand chocolate milk. It's thick and yummy!!! Other than that I really don't drink milk and definitely not chocolate milk.

I recently just jumped back on the chocolate milk train after seeing a homemade recipe on The Pioneer Woman site. I have a glass almost every day.

I actually cannot stand the premade stuff. :confused3

I would like to see that homemade recipe. (Maybe I shouldn't)

Here you go.

P.W.’s Homemade Chocolate Milk Mix for the Fridge
2965955276_fc67d7d9c6.jpg

1 cup heavy (whipping) cream
4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Heat cream over medium-high heat until slightly boiling. Add chocolate pieces and turn off heat. Whisk slowly until chocolate is melted and mixture is very smooth. Pour into a container and keep in the fridge up to two weeks. Mix with cold or warm milk, depending on how frightful the weather outside is.

Note: Mixture, after refrigerated, will be quite thick. Just stir well in cold milk and you’ll be fine.

I never drink milk. The kids do, though, and they prefer the pre-made Nestle stuff. So that's what I buy.

Either way is fine with me, but I prefer to make it at home so I can use skim milk.

We get our chocolate milk delivered to us also by the milkman....and it's delicious.....no HCFS....it's got sugar in it..

I am a chocolate milk snob, I only drink Broguiere's.

I wish they had a website, but I can't find it.

I don't drink it at all (don't tolerate dairy well, and save my splurges for lattes) but for my kids I usually buy it premade. I buy it in drink boxes from Costco-- Horizon lowfat (or it might be fat free) organic chocolate milk. Occasionally I make it for them instead, because I always have chocolate syrup around (for those lattes...). My kids don't seem to have a preference either way.

They are particular about their apple juice, though, which I totally don't get (maybe because I hate the stuff, so it's all equally gross to me). I have a case of Hanson's in my pantry that they refuse to take in their lunches, because they want the Mott's. :confused3 Sorry for the sidetrack...

I have had real chocolate milk for years, due to diabetes. However, I bought Sweatleaf brand Chocolate flavored Stevia (probably at your health food store), add a squirt to my fat-free milk, and I have great chocolate milk with no sugar, calories or fat.

Really? Honestly? Not just an "okay" substitute? I'm asking because I'm really interested. We have a lot of food allergies around here, so I'm always interested in alternatives, and how satisfying they are.

Funny - I'm drinking chocolate milk right now with my dinner.. And I made it myself - with the Nestle's Chocolate Syrup.. (I've been trying to remember to make chocolate milk for every meal because I need to gain weight..)

Adult DD has to drink Lactaid milk due to lactose intolerance and she can't stomach it plain, so she makes it chocolate with the Hershey's Chocolate Syrup.. Has to be Hershey's - nothing else..

I can use any kind of chocolate syrup - even non-brand - all tastes the same to me..

Once in awhile I'll buy some chocolate milk at the store, but it's usually a little "too" chocolaty for me..

There's a local farm around here that sells the best Chocolate milk in the whole wide world.

People come from miles around (no lie) to buy it. I'm sure its full of sugar and fat but isn't that the best kind?

My boyfriends keeps syrup in the house so I mix unsatisfying glasses when I run out of juice. BUT I love premade, and try to only buy organic without HFCS. Whole Foods has a Dutch brand in large bottles in regular and low fat that I get when I can. Mmm, real cocoa!

I am a teacher and the BEST chocolate milk is the kind from the cafeteria!! Shake the container so it is frothy, open and drink...NO straw!! YUM!

You forgot other, sometimes we buy sometimes we make.
Only DH drinks it though, I don't like it and I don't like strawberry milk either.
