Does any have or know where I can get the recipe for the Chocolate covered Mickey rice crispy treats that are sold at Disney? My family loves them and I would love to make them for my daughters birthday. They taste better than the crispy treats we make. I have the Mickey head cake pan and the Mickey muffin pan.

Thanks,
Jenny

I don't have the recipe here but it is the same as the Rice Krispie Treats except you use the Chocolate Rice Krispies (Cocoa Krispies)
You can also make it with the Chocolate Pebbles but I don't like the taste of those.

I would think that the recipe they use for their Mickey treats would be the same basis as they use at the Contemporary for their Crisp Rice Cereal Sushi. From what I remember it's not quite the same as the Kellog's recipe. Just skip the roll-ups & gummi stuff & use the chocolate Rice Krispies.

Deb

CRISP RICE CEREAL SUSHI
from the California Grill, Contemporary
8 fruit roll-ups
¼ c butter
10 oz miniature marshmallows
6 c Rice Crispies
16 Gummi worms or
24 Swedish fish
Unroll fruit & place plastic down on cutting board. Melt butter; add marshmallows, stirring until melted. Remove from heat; stir in cereal until blended. Spread ~½ cup cereal mixture quickly over each fruit roll, leaving a 1” border on 1 long side. Put 2 worms or 3 fish lengthwise down center. Begin rolling on side w/o border. Press to seal. Cut into 4 slices. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve with chopsticks, if desired. Yield: 32 rolls.
