*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

I'm a little slow...what game are they playing? Is it like She Bop that I sang all the time and never knew what it meant until I was in my 30's. It's can't be that bad if you are admitting that your maybe future husband plays.

Donna Summers found it too and now won't sing that song that your friend won't play (can't for the life of me remember the title)

Our friends' 3 year old used to LOVE to sing and dance to "Love Shack"... we would just die laughing - she graduated high school a few years ago and we requested the DJ at the party to play it and we all got a great laugh! :rotfl:

I was a Shaun Cassidy fan. Knew every word to every song. I also had knee highs with John Travolta's face on the front. Don't ask...
"met her on a Monday and my heart stood still, Da do run run run, da do run run...."
"Hey Deanie, won't you come out.."
"Do you believe in magic, in a young girl's heart..."
Ok, I'll stop now... but I COULD go on..... :lmao:

:lmao: I make a lot of donations when I visit my favorite casinos. I dated a gambling freak and he taught me all I know. :lmao:

You're not old  Who is your daughter into? I have no idea who teens find hot today.
We love to go to Atlantic City at least once a year... :cool1:

Thank you, but I am old, next to the rest of you! :hippie:

DD has "different" tastes in music.... she likes Miley Cyrus, Hillary Duff, KT Tunstall, but she also loves Broadway show tunes, - the soundtrack to "Hairspray" is often playing around here!

Ladies...Ladies.....

When you were talking about how hot Jordan was of course I thought you were speaking about me....:rolleyes1

Peepns---I also graduated in 80.

I would wear a tacky tux again in a second...

Jordan you must have me confused with someone else because I was 7 yrs old in 1980
....

Jordan - that would be ME. The 1980 High School graduate.. :rolleyes1

MRYPPNS - way to RUB IT IN - "I was 7 yrs old in 1980"...

Hey, I just got to your PTR, and I found out that I am going to WDW at the same time as you. I am going 8/10 - 8/18. We are staying that the GF for our honeymoon. We are almost at the 100 day mark!!
Us too! Hope we'll see y'all there. Will you be wearing mouse ears or buttons? Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Love Shack is my trademark karaoke song.

I might be the oldest here. 1966

I will count it as the same age. Yes, year born. But I was born in December.

Do you know exactly when it is? Their concerts are on Fridays, right? You'll have to post it here so that I'll remember to watch!

I think it's May 16th. But I'll check again and post.

I missed a lot after I went to bed last night! :scared1:

Resort choice for DIS prom: Hmmm, do we want to go classically elegant or campy?

I don't know how elegant it should be. I think the GF may kick us out.

I have to ask...........what does she bop mean?

:scared1: Did you find out?

Hey, I just got to your PTR, and I found out that I am going to WDW at the same time as you. I am going 8/10 - 8/18. We are staying that the GF for our honeymoon. We are almost at the 100 day mark!!

:welcome:

Are you also getting married in Disney?

I think campy may be the only option! :goodvibes

I agree :lmao:

And since everyone's been mentioning how old they were in 1980, I'll join in. I was 3 years old in 1980. :rotfl2:
