*Chocolate and Pixie Dust* - An August 2008 TR- 8/29 pg 6: Sort of an update

Tiffany was on Celebrity Fit Club a couple of seasons ago - or was it Surreal Life? I don't know. She looked the same, but older and heavier. She seemed a little cracked out. Hope that doesn't offend anyone. Wait, no, that was Tawny Kittaen that was on Surreal Life all cracked out. (remember her?) Sorry, Tiffany.

Seagrams - only one prom. It was the only prom where I wore the dress with hoops. The other proms, the boys were responsible for smuggling the liquor.

The new NKOTB song titles are awesome! :lmao:

(I always have a story, don't I?) Hall and Oates' producer lived in our town. We all had buttons that said "No Can Do" - you remember that line from "I Can't Go For That"?

I saw Leif on some VH1 show about 10 years ago. Yeah, he's a goner. And I liked C.Thomas Howell - LOVED The Outsiders. Wasn't Tom Cruise in that one but nobody knew him yet? And Matt Dillon?

My first concert was Rick Springfield. Then I had 17th row Prince and the Revolution tix - 1999 tour. It was awesome!!

I remember drugged out Tawny. What a mess!

Boys are so helpful! I love when they bring the alcohol.

NKOTB will be on the Today Show next month. I need to take off from work to see it.

I'm listening to Hall & Oates now. "One on one, I want to play that game tonight..." I never realized what they were singing about. Funny thing is, my exbf likes to play that same game. I wonder if he's related to either Hall or Oates.

I remember Prince and the Revolution. I loved the Purple Rain album. I remember Vanity before she found religion.

VH-1 is where old POP icons go to die

I chipped my tooth at the Prom after party on a bottle of Purple Passion

I saw Leif on some VH1 show about 10 years ago.

He was on the Bull Riding reality show and backed out a couple days into it...guess he needed a fix

And I liked C.Thomas Howell - LOVED The Outsiders. Wasn't Tom Cruise in that one but nobody knew him yet? And Matt Dillon?

Patrick Swayze, Emilo Estevez, and Rob Lowe....oh and Diane Lane played Cherry.

That must have been killer...we saw Aerosmith for new years eve 1999...there's a whole 6 degrees of separation story for that one...

I remember when VH1 was for the senior set. Now I love it. I can't live without my Celebreality. Does VH1 even show music videos anymore?

Yes from 6am to 10am....me and DS watch a couple most mornings
OMG I remember White Snake and White Lion. David Coverdale must be 110 years old now.
He's doing the VH-1 Retirement House show :rotfl2:

David Archuletta reminds me of Ralph Macchio. I wish he'd break out the "crane stance" in the middle of one of his American Idol songs one of these days. :rotfl:

I can't stand that kid...I call him Robot Singer....my girl Carly got the boot this week.

That's a fun 40th birthday. I love the huge wheel that the dealer spins and you guess which number it's going to land on. I usually play that when I'm too intoxicated to count.

But my all time favorite is craps. It's high energy and fast moving. It's a very social game. And I'm a social person ;)

DH's favorite is craps, too. I just make my donation to the slot machines. :lmao: I like the wheel, too - even if I'm not intoxicated. :rotfl:

but that means no more "Shadow Dancing" with Andy Gibb :sad2:

After reading all of this tonight, I certainly feel OLD. :guilty: I graduated HS in 1980! Shaun Cassidy was one of my favorites.
However, my two REAL heartthrobs were Don Maloney from the NY Rangers and Bucky Dent from the NY Yankees!

I'm a little slow...what game are they playing? Is it like She Bop that I sang all the time and never knew what it meant until I was in my 30's. It's can't be that bad if you are admitting that your maybe future husband plays.

Donna Summers found it too and now won't sing that song that your friend won't play (can't for the life of me remember the title)

If it helps I had a notebook with Shaun Cassidy on the cover... he was sort of in a trash can on the beach. Or was it David Cassidy? no I think it was Shaun.

I can't stand that kid...I call him Robot Singer....my girl Carly got the boot this week.
I don't like him either. Honestly, I think he sounds like his voice hasn't changed yet and he's quite monotone to me. Maybe it's just my old ears. I liked Carly too, but I love Jason Castro. He feels like Jack Johnson and I think Idol needs something a little different.

DH's favorite is craps, too. I just make my donation to the slot machines. :lmao: I like the wheel, too - even if I'm not intoxicated. :rotfl: OH I forgot - I LOVE Wheel of Fortune slot machine - the dollar one. My cousin and I like to play and when we get a spin, we scream so the whole casino floor can hear us "Wheel .... Of .... Fortune!!!!!"

I was a Shaun Cassidy fan. Knew every word to every song. I also had knee highs with John Travolta's face on the front. Don't ask...

On that note I need to go to bed....good night ladies...chat with you later!

:lmao: I make a lot of donations when I visit my favorite casinos. I dated a gambling freak and he taught me all I know. :lmao:

You're not old  Who is your daughter into? I have no idea who teens find hot today.

She Bop :rotfl2:
It's not that bad. It's quite normal, as long as he only plays the game with one person :rotfl2:

"Love to Love You"

Travolta's face on socks :scared1: Thank goodness it was young Travolta.

Good night!!!

I refer to him as the newest member of Menudo. :lmao:

Anybody else remember Menudo? How about the Silver Spoons episode with Menudo?

I  Ricky Schroeder!

Disney does Grad Night...
Why not Prom Night for Adults?
King and Queen could be crowned in front of the castle...
Innumerable t-shirts and pins saying "Disney Prom 2008" could be hocked for outrageous prices...
Every june we host a "senior" prom...hee hee hee
And I was going to say the same thing - I liked Jordan's solo "Give it to You". In fact, I was listening to that at work the other day.

I still do too! I listen to it all the time.:rotfl:

Ladies...Ladies.....

When you were talking about how hot Jordan was of course I thought you were speaking about me....:rolleyes1

Peepns---I also graduated in 80.

I would wear a tacky tux again in a second...

I was a HUGE NKOTB fan! It was a bit embarrassing because I was in highschool and most of my friends couldn't stand them ;) Joey was my favorite :)

My first concert was Elton John and I was 20. I haven't been to many concerts in my life. Too loud and crazy and for me.

Jen, has the drunk dialer moved up in status? hmmmmmm

Not sure just yet. I don't want to promote him too quickly.

I refer to him as the newest member of Menudo. :lmao:

I remember Menudo and Silver Spoons. And Punky Brewster, Facts of Life, and Growing Pains :scared1:
