Love the books! I have a Passporter from last year. never really did anything for me.
The Complete Guide to Walt Disney World by Julie Neal is a real good one! I have the 07 one.
I started out with Birnbaums for our first trip in 05 and loved it!
I dont have the unofficial guide yet..not enough pictures for me..:lmao:

How was your first day back at school?

The Unofficial Guide does need more pictures. But some of the cartoons are funny.

The first day back was good. I explained my surgery, showed photos that my surgeon gave me, and answered lots of questions. They wanted to know if I felt anything and how I was able to sleep the entire time :lmao:
For some reason, they were really curious about stitches.:confused3

I love the NY t shirt! great idea! Scott should get a couple for Sept! I like the shoes too...The first red ones I really like..
I think I have like 3 pairs of shoes.and 2 are Crocs. one is flip flops, :rotfl:

Thanks! I live in the World of Disney Store.

I wonder if Scott and Biff would wear matching NY t-shirts?:confused3

I have lots of flip flops too. I don't own Crocs and have never tried them on. Are they comfortable?

AHHHHH,,Go try them on!! You will not want to take them off! I even have a pair with the fur in them for winter,:cloud9:

OHHHHHHH I like those!!!! :thumbsup2

I assume you won't be walking around the parks in those??

But then again....I don't know you :rotfl2:

Thanks. And you're right, not for the parks. I think I'd need a stretcher if I tried to walk the MK in those :lmao:

We have to ask Scott :rotfl2:

I'm going to try on some Crocs this week. If they are that comfy, I might be wearing them with my dress instead of the red shoes :rotfl:

Thanks :)

I have a lot and I want to buy more. This is becoming a problem :rotfl:

I have that problem with guidebooks AND shoes!

My DH just rolled his eyes when I came home with the Passporter today. And when I came home from the mall with 2 new pairs of shoes Saturday.

hehe... u have some guidebooks I need ;) I also got Imagineers guides to MK, AK and Epcot... haven't seen an MGM or DHS one yet.... otherwise u look like u are covered hehe

go to the Croc's store on Columbus. it is right across from the City Grill. A horrible restaurant.

I love my Crocs.

I love the way the Passporter is organized. But I never actually carry it around the parks.

Fantastic shoes!!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks :)

I think I might getthe Imagineers guides. People need to write more guidebooks with lots of color photos.

Biff would not.

Looks like a trip to the Crocs store is on this week's agenda :thumbsup2

We're voting on next year's school calendar at our faculty meeting next week. As I've been looking over the choices, it appears that we will have a 5 day weekend in October. If that's the case, I'm considering another trip to Disney foir MNSSHP :woohoo:

So even though I'm not sure, I'm pricing different options. I have no idea where to begin in terms of resorts. We were at the Poly in January and will be back there in August with a one night stay at the CR. Should I stay at the Poly again? Transportation is so great there. Or should I consider another resort? Maybe the GF? I really would love to stay at AKL, but it seems so far away. Or should I save some money and stay at POFQ or POR?

Also, since it would be a relatively fast trip I'm thinking of doing the dining plan. Deluxe dining might be a bit too much.

Then there's flights.:scared1: I've never booked my flights through Disney. I wonder if that's worth doing. Or would I get a better deal on my own.

What do you think?

I don't have much to offer about resort choice (this weekend is my first time on-site since childhood) and I always book my own air so I can fly direct on Southwest out of a smaller airport close to my home.

Our trip last October was over Columbus Day weekend and we had a blast - it was a bit rainy, but it was fun to be there for MNSSHP. We pulled the kids out of school for a couple extra days and made it a week. Definitely a great time to go! :thumbsup2

I'm pretty excited about the possibility of going to MNSSHP. I usually do not have that long of a weekend in October and can't take off days that early in the school year. So, I figure it's the perfect opportunity to get dressed up and trick or treat around the MK!!!

I only have the Birnbaum's book. I have the one for kids and the one for grown ups. :thumbsup2

I'm interested in this Mickey Map that someone else posted. I think I will look this up.

GREAT shoes!!!:goodvibes

I would stay at POR and save your money. do the regular dining plan. then you can experience the boat to DTD, it is wonderful.

I would book through Jetblue.

I checked rates from 10/9 - 10/13 and WOW, it is $174 one way for 1 person. I paid $74 each way pp.
