Chip and Dale Sing Along

My family has made many many trips to Disney, but I've never been to the Wilderness Lodge. We are staying at the GF. I just saw where you could start booking the sleigh rides, so I booked one for our last night at Disney at 6:30 p.m. - We are going 12-15 to 12-20 and are there for my DS 4th birthday. I was thinking of combining the sleigh ride with dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe and finishing the evening with the Chip and Dale Campfire Sing Along. I have two boys - 4 and 2 1/2. I want our last night to be lots of fun - Does this sound like a good idea? I haven't found much to read about the Sing Along. (We fly out the next morning, but do have time to go to MK - I LOVE ending my trip at the MK.)

You know the campfire is at Fort Wilderness & not WL right?

We did the campfire Sing-along and had such a great time. We enjoyed our dinner at Trail's End before going over. We didn't get to do pony rides or anything like that.

Okay we loved the Chip and Dale campout. We roasted marshmellows, sang songs, Chip and Dale came and then we settled in for a movie. It is at the campgrounds not the lodge. Before we went to Disney my daughters favorite characters were of course the princesses and my son didn't really care. When we left they had fallen for Chip and Dale. This was our first trip and I want to plan one for next Christmas. What is the Sliegh ride? Hope you have fun.

We did it for the first time in Sept and will be doing it again. We really enjoyed it. The smores were good (and reasonably priced for the makings right there), the sing a long was fun and the outdoor movie was a lot of fun for the kids.

My only complaint...kind of a pain to get there and back (we were staying at POP - 3 different buses to get back and kids were TIRED and we only stayed for 1/2 the movie) - BUT, even with the transportation challenges, we will be back to do it again.

BTW - My kids are just over 4 and just about 3 when we went.

If you don't have a car -- just prepare for a burdensome travel experience and then enjoy!
