Chilly 4.0 The Quadrilogy - Day 9

I found it quite hard to get up this morning and Mike kept watching the golf on TV instead of getting ready, so after catching the bus to Epcot we arrived much later than planned. We picked up some Soarin FPs and then went on living with the land, we both love the greenhouse bit. Then we went on TestTrack via the Single Rider line as I didn't want to queue. DH said he thought this was the beginning of the end of our marriage, first not riding together, then separate beds, then separate holidays and finally separate houses. We took in the Seas with Nemo and then used our Soarin FPs, we got the front row which we hadn't had for a while and I wondered if they'd ever do a new film.

We went over to the World Showcase and to the UK to meet Lori and Eoghan, we chatted for about 20 minutes catching up on what we'd been doing and then they went off to their ADR and we began our assault on the F&WF. First stop:

The assault was put on pause while I got my photo with Marie, the CM had actually closed the queue but I managed to sneak in!

While in France we got some food and drink:

And met up with Meryll and Simon. We continued onto Morocco where more food and drinks were purchased:

Next up we hit the USA where Simon got cake and both boys got beer. Sorry no photos. We then headed right round past Mexico to meet Lori and Eoghan again and more DISbrides, Tracey & Meg plus their DHs.

We all chat for a while then head back to the other side of the World as M&S have an ADR in Canada, people stop at various places to pick up drinks, DH gets a cider from the first place we stopped but I don't get anything and we meet up in the UK to watch the show for a bit.

I'm now thirsty as its a really hot day, so I get a coke from the chippy, I seem to drink it in two gulps so look inside and its just jammed full of ice, i'm not happy. We leave everybody and what else get more food. First stop Italy:

We meet up with M&S again at the pin stand, not on purpose we both just happen to be there! And head to DHS for EMH on the bus, we went to go on the boat but all walked to the front of the park thinking someone else was taking us the right way. We had to wait quite a while for the bus as they did some odd bus check which mainly seemed to involve looking at the windscreen wipers.

We arrive at 7pm and head straight to Fantasmic as it is already very busy but we find some seats on the far left, we attempt to start a mexican wave but it doesn't take, one does get going later on though. M&S and I had go in without DH who was getting me a drink and we realised he might not find us, luckily he had a bright red t-shirt on so we were able to spot him and then waved like mad at him.

When its over we queue for TOT, the wait is 30 mins and none of us have ever waited so long for it. We are amused by various people in the queue including one boy is playing a recorder or something. When we get on the ride a kid behind asks her Mum if its the drop yet who says no, there is a pause, and then Simon screams, then the kids start screaming, but its not really the drops and Simon keeps apologising to the Mum. In the end the kids love it and its the best drop sequence i've ever had and the others agree. We meet back up with Lori and Eoghan. Everyone but me goes on RNRC and I hold the bags and try out the camera at night.

We head back to TOT but the 2nd Fantasmic lets out so we know it'll be a even longer wait than last time so decide to give it a miss. We say goodbye to M&S for the last time as they go home the next day, i'm sad they are leaving so I just do a quick goodbye and DH and I leave. We get to the bus stop to find a huge queue, luckily they send double busses so the queue moves quickly. Back at POFQ we eat the brownie from yesterday and then hit the sack.

A great day Claire, I'm sure we tried a few of those things at the Food & Wine Festival .. I wish I was there right now
