Breakfast at the foodcourt, croissant for me and a cherry danish for DH. We drive over to DHS arriving about 30 mins after opening. I send Mike to get FPs for TSM and I walk slowly towards ToT. He reports TSM already has a wait time of 60 mins and our return time is not until 2:05pm. I later hear a CM say they were out of FPs by 11am. ToT has a more manageable wait time of 13 minutes.
After ToT DH goes on RnR, it tries to rain while i'm waiting but doesn't take hold, I try out our new camera's zoom on ToT (above). We go over to the Animation Courtyard and queue up for Lotso who is about to come out. He is very cuddley and much nicer than in the film, I wish they had other characters, Mr Pricklepants in particular.
Next up is a drawing class, we draw Minnie Mouse.
We get an early lunch at Studio Catering, I get a chicken caesar wrap with fries, DH tries the turkey club with fries. We are entertained by a CM taking ages over drawing a hopscotch with chalk, minutes after he has gone its all dusty from the children playing.
After lunch we go to Indiana Jones, then its time for an ice lolly and a wander about while we eat them. Beauty and the Beast is next on the list, I miss 4 for a dollar.
Another ride on ToT with some FPs we picked up earlier then its time for TSM at last. Mike beat me as usual but I did better than I normally do.
We take in Muppets 3D, and have a 3rd go on ToT, last ride of the day is the great movie ride, gangster of course. Our ADR is at Mama Melrose, I get chicken parmigiana, Mike has spaghetti con von golle and we both enjoy our meals.
Service was really quick so we decide to skip pudding and go to Fantasmic which we'd not planned on doing, we stop at the candy store to get some dessert to eat in Fantasmic, DH opts for Chocolate Caramel Fudge, I pick a Smore, the queue however is very slow moving as one woman is using up all her snack credits on fudge. We eventually get to Fantasmic 40 mins before showtime to be told its standing room only so we decide not to bother. Instead we take our food and sit watching the final of American Idol on the big screen, then head back to the hotel where we watch CSI before hitting the sack.
At some point in the day while in a shop we saw a man dressed head to toe in tinkerbelle stuff, his jacket was covered in patches, his hat is covered in pins and keyrings dangle from it. Anyone else ever see him?
