We had a nice slow start to today and headed to the Florida Mall (we'd never been before). We went straight to the food court to grab an early lunch, loads of places were giving out free samples, wish they did that here! DH got an Italian BMT from subway and I get Chinese, orange chicken, beef & veg with fried rice, I leave quite a lot of my which is not like me.
First stop is the Pandora shop but I don't buy anything yet. We hit the Croc store, Banana Republic, Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch where I nearly buy a kids t-shirt by mistake. Then its back to Pandora to get my bracelet! I'd asked on here and someone had said there was a large Halloween store near the Mall and luckily we came out by it, so in we go to get me a pirate costume for a Hen Party I went to on my return from WDW.
We head over to the Premium Outlet Mall, we hit Nike, Ralph Lauren and Puma but DH doesn't buy anything which is not like him. Last stop is the Disney store where I spend spend spend. We are served by an old English man, he is very nice and we chat but he takes so long. We head back to POFQ to chill out for a bit before dinner.
Our ADR tonight is at Raglan Road with Meryll & Simon. We catch the bus to DTD after only a short wait and arrive with 20 mins to spare so head into the Lego store and each get a new keyring. Then we walk over to Raglan Rd to wait for M & S and watch the Irish dancers who our outside.
We don't have to wait long for a table. Meryll and I both opt for a cocktail, mine is called one for the road, Meryll gets a chocolate martini, DH gets a beer and Simon gets a beer as well but only because of the name...
Both couples get the daulky duo to share (we realise we should have just got one between the 4 of us) and for mains we have:
Mike - Chicken Pie
Meryll - Chicken Risotto
Simon - Fish n Chips
Claire - Sod the Stew
Share - Skinny chips with garlic & truffle
There is no room for pudding!
We have a great time together although talking can be a bit hard in there esp as we were right by the little stage and they had Irish dancing on but the food was fab.
We move onto Paradiso 37, it has been raining while we were inside and the chairs our wet so we get a waiter to dry them for us, but then decide to sit at a different table which is covered in case of more rain. Simon gets a margarita, DH a larger, Meryll opts for a coke and I get a Paloma Passion.
After a while we are joined by Lori and Eoghan. More drinks are consumed, I try a white sangria, Meryll gets a raspberry rita, Simon has another rita, and I forget what the others had and didn't take photos sorry. The service is a bit erratic but he is a good sport about taking photos of us.
We move on, we nearly stop at the bar outside the comedy warehouse but the sight of a didgeridoo puts some of the group off as there is some sort of band there so we head to HoB but find it closed we are not impressed so we go back the way we came then change our minds and get on a bus to the Boardwalk and go to the ESPN bar instead. We have a laugh on the bus and as its 5 Brits against 1 American we take the piss out of American sports. We also have a good laugh about the fact that Simon thought we were all going to turn out to be 50 year old men as none of us had met before.
We arrive at the ESPN bar just near the end of an American football game between two rival teams, I don't think we endeared ourselves to the other customers as by now we were all a bit merry and they were all very serious. We are pretty much the last to leave the bar, we head to the taxi rank and each get a taxi to our respective hotels, ours costs about $8 plus tip.
