Chili's Restaurant.

I love Chili's!!! We went there on Sunday night. My favorite food they have is the chili queso!! Their salsa is awesome so they always bring me a bowl of that with our chips and dip!! We asked about the onion on Sunday night since DS18 was with us and he loves it!! They said Chili's no longer has those.

Things we normally have that are really good---Honey Chipotle chicken crispers, fajita trio ('cause the shrimp in it are awesome!!), fajita quesadillas, country fried steak (DD17's favorite), sirloin (DS18's favorite), and my new favorite item--crispy chicken tacos with the honey chipotle drizze (had those on Sunday night and they are YUMMY!!!!).

Sign up on the chili's website and they will send you coupons for freebies, especially on your b-day!! (got me one for a free desert for my upcoming b-day and one for a free appetizer for being signed up with them for a year--all to use in the next two weeks--darn it!!:rolleyes1 )

Chili's is hit or miss. Some of them are very good, and some suck. Depends on management I suppose.

The one by our house is pretty good. Excellent buffalo wings. Burgers are good. I also love their corn on the cob. If anything, they're just a bit inconsistent.

Are they all like that?

It was pretty good, and the whole family wants to go again.

The nearest Chili's for us is 45 mins away. :sad2: So you can bet when we have to go to this area we ALWAYS stop at Chili's. When I got gift cards from my job, I always get them for Chili's. And even from my mastercard, for the points, I was able to get a Chili's gift card. Love their big mouth bites as well as the ribs. All their burgers are good, actually. Going to see Disney on Ice this Saturday, so geuss where lunch will be. popcorn::

I'm guessing that you went to the Chili's on Route 30, Wayne.

I've been there loads of times back in the day with the Church of the Savior singles gang after church. We all, 30 to 40 of us, stampede there at lunch time Sundays. Great memories and times.

A spanking new Chili's is opening up in Spring time in front of our brand new super Walmart (that opened up a couple of months ago).

We're planning on going there too.

They have really good salads as well. I haven't been in a long time because we don't have one here but they have a grilled chicken salad that has egg, tomatoes, almonds, and honey mustard dressing (which I think you can get a low-fat version of). I don't know if they still have it but it was fantastic.

Dang, shouldn't have opened this thread so close to lunch, now I'm craving Skillet Queso and chips in the worst way! :headache:

DH and I LOVE Chili's. It's our favorite of the big chains. We always get the skillet queso/chips, I get the mushroom/chicken/bacon fajitas, DH gets the Spicy chicken fingers or ribs and thenw e saplit the molten lava cake. It's a good night out! Our local Chili's is always busy, but clean, prompt and pleasant.

I detest Ruby Tuesday for everything except their burgers and Applebee's is not so good either. The Olive Garden is a joke as far as Italian food is concerned. I do like Pizzaria Uno, TGIFridays, Logan's, and Outback.

Nope. The one on 202 and Gulph Road in K.O. P. :)

I remember the ORIGINAL Chili's in Dallas on the corner of Greenville Avenue and Meadow. There would be a line outside that place every day and it took hours upon hours to get in there to eat (stood in that line many times as it was so worth it). It was so good back then.......then they franchised in the early 80's and it has NOT been the same since.

I occasionally eat at Chili's just to see how much it's changed. I loved the Old Timer with Cheese which was basically a chili cheese burger - couldn't find it on the menu last time I was there - doubt I'll ever go back.
