You know life and death situations change people. He was extremely subdued when he came out....and almost cold to the mistress. I have to wonder if he's had a change of heart and doesn't want a divorce? How sad for them all.

I don't think a stone-faced guy is able to get a wife AND a girlfriend. Usually they are the ultra-smooth talkers.

The was she was fluffing her hair before she greeted him, I knew she was the mistress.

Wow, how weird, this was the first one I didn't tear up for either!!
My feelings for him were of apprehension and sadness.
It really was sad, and awkward, and sad and did I mention awkward? It was strange to watch him.

Total aside - I keep thinking how stinky that mine must be.

33 men in one tiny space for 70 days would be stinky without the 90 degree temperature, lack of fresh air and no toilet! Geez, ONE man in a confined space for a couple of hours is pretty stinky!

Again, maybe it was me, but you could sorta tell she was a mistress the moment she went into the area - I could almost sense the tension as soon as she walked in with the workers in the area like if they didn't know what to do or say (in comparison with all the other family members that have been down there already)

I just heard on Sky News that the wife released a statement that she didn't want any part of it and wanted to be left alone.

So I'm guessing mistress (and from the reaction - she seemed much happier than the wife would be and he didn't seem as happy).
