Children's Rain Ponchos...

Ok, I have read these boards over and over. Everyone suggested finding children's rain ponchos at Wal Mart or the Dollar Stores. All I am looking for is the throw away kind. I have been to Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Deals-Nothing over a Dollar and Wal Mart. All that I have been able to find is adult ones. Does ANYONE have any other suggestions? We are doing the single digit dance and I'm going nuts trying to find them.

I couldn't find any for kids either. I decided to just cut the length off of an adult one. I think it will fit fine, when and if we need them. Besides, you never have to wear it for very long!

However, save yourself some grief, don't even try to fold them and put them back in the pouch they come in......Just like a map, they will NEVER fit.

Well I found some at Dollar Tree. But previously I had not been able to find them. Here is what we did. Had kids put them on and then just tie a knot at the bottom on one side so they aren't too long. Then take ziplocks and you can put them in after you wear them.
