If I pay OOP at at TS restaurant, can I order a children's meal for a child who is 10 or 12 years old?

Thank you!

Yes, you can. My niece and nephew who are 15 and 12 both ordered from the Children's menu when nothing appeared to them on the adult menu last month. Just note that the serving sizes are geared to younger kids, so it may not be enough for them.

Usually, my dd's were 10 and 12 last trip and we had two that wouldn't allow my 12yo to order from the childrens menu. 50's prime time and san angel inn both said no and if my dd hadn't found something she liked on the regular menu I would have persisted. I think it depends more on the server than the restaurant though.

Be sure and check the menus as the childrens offerings have changed, my dd's like them but they may not be large enough or varied enough for some older kids.

Often my dd's will choose a soup or salad and then spit an appetizer from the regular menu instead of the childrens menu so that's another option. If its just smaller portions you want or choices without sauce or spices it never hurts to as the server, most of the time they can accomodate special requests.
