Children Missing School

I've pulled my kids out of school every year so far for 4-6 days for Disney trips. DD is now in 4th and DS is in 2nd and we have another trip planned for Feb 2020 where they will miss 5 school days for a 10 day trip. I don't think we'll continue once the kids are in Middle/High schools but who knows. I always send a letter to the school well in advance to let them know our kids will be out and I've never had any problems-- the district sends me a nasty letter about how much my kids not being there costs them but the school/teachers have never given us any issues.
